Enter Seaweed through a convenient conservatory, offering space for boot storage and coat hooks. From there, you enter the tastefully decorated open-plan living area.

The lounge features two sofas and an armchair, creating a cosy setting for evenings in front of the TV. During colder months, ignite the wood-burning stove to infuse the space with a homely atmosphere.

Towards the rear of the house, you'll find a well-equipped kitchen with a fridge/freezer, electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, and washing machine. It offers ample storage for groceries and includes a breakfast bar, perfect for leisurely mornings. A separate dining table sits adjacent to the kitchen, accommodating up to six.

A convenient downstairs bedroom boasts a standard double bed, a chest of drawers, and a comfy armchair. This front-facing bedroom has easy accessibility, making it suitable for guests with limited mobility.

Adjacent to the downstairs bedroom is the first of two family bathrooms. This spacious bathroom includes a walk-in shower, washbasin, and WC, along with quick-dry microfleece towels for beach use.

At the top of the stairs, you'll find a large double/twin bedroom with flexible link beds. Upon request, this bedroom can feature either a super king-size (6') bed or two 3' single beds. It also includes an armchair and a wardrobe. Please specify your bed preference when booking.

The second first-floor bedroom is front-facing and features a standard double bed and a chest of drawers.

The upstairs family bathroom has a bath with an overhead shower, washbasin, and WC.

Seaweed is situated in the charming village of Combe Martin in North Devon, which offers a delightful seaside experience. The village boasts its own family-friendly beach, a variety of dining options, and several shops, all conveniently located within easy walking distance from the holiday cottage.

One of the highlights of staying at Seaweed is the proximity to the beach. While the main beach is dog-friendly outside of the holiday season, Newberry Beach, adjacent to Combe Martin Beach, welcomes dogs year-round. Combe Martin Beach is renowned for its excellent rock pools, making it a popular spot for exploring and sea kayaking. Additionally, you can rent jet-skis locally at Watermouth Cove.

Stand up paddle boarding (SUP) is also gaining popularity at Combe Martin Beach, offering a unique way to experience the stunning North Devon coastline.

Combe Martin is strategically located along the South West Coast Path, providing opportunities for picturesque hikes, including trails leading to Little and Great Hangman. On clear days, you can even catch a glimpse of Wales across the Bristol Channel.

A short drive from Combe Martin will take you to renowned attractions such as Croyde, Woolacombe, and Saunton Beaches, as well as Arlington Court, Watermouth Castle, and Exmoor Zoo. For day trips, the Victorian town of Ilfracombe with its picturesque harbor is just a 10 to 15-minute drive away, or you can enjoy a scenic walk along the South West Coast Path. Other nearby points of interest include Exmoor National Park, Lynton and Lynmouth, Clovelly, Appledore, Instow, and Lundy Island, accessible by boat during the main holiday season, offering an exciting day excursion.
