If you're craving some restorative "Vitamin Sea", then you can't go wrong with a stay at this cute cottage in the village of Torcross. Just a few metres away from the beach, with stunning views across the water, you're sure to feel at home in no time at all.

Step inside, and you'll notice a distinctly nautical theme, from the anchor on the wall to the blue and white colour scheme. There are plenty of traditional details to admire throughout and cosy nooks where you can enjoy some perfect peace – we especially like the window seat with sea views. The kitchen is charming and quaint, inviting you to cook up a delicious Sunday roast to share with your guests, and there's even a little balcony for alfresco breakfasts in the sunshine.

Torcross Beach has three miles of shoreline to explore, so you can enjoy bracing walks in the winter or paddle in the sea during the warmer months. Slapton Ley Nature Reserve is just a couple of minutes away by car, where you can wander through the Devon – don't forget to pack a picnic. And, with Dartmouth just fifteen minutes away by car, you can treat yourself at the seafood restaurants, independent shops, and quaint pubs.
