The village is situated on the Test Way, which passes by many pretty villages, historic churches, and country houses. Nearby Romsey offers visitors a fine selection of shops and restaurants, Romsey Abbey, or the home of the Mountbatten family at Broadlands. The National Trust s Mottisfont Abbey is well worth a day out. Alternatively, take the short drive to the New Forest, ideal for keen walkers and cyclists. Stepping inside, the ground floor has a cosy, characterful lounge with a TV, DVD iPod dock and wood burner which is perfect for those chillier evenings after a day out.
