This has been our second booking at Rosslare Cottage in Northern Ireland and we are sad to be leaving. The cottage is very clean and there was an amazing gift basket with goodies on the table when we arrived. The cottage is spacious, fits 4 people (2 couples in our case) comfortably and you really feel like this is your own when you are here. The hostess provides a great welcome binder that answers some day to day questions on the cottage but also suggestions and maps on places go and things to see while in Northern Ireland. The cottage is in a great location to tourist destinations and even though we rented a car we did lots of walking and took advantage of using a taxi and the train system. Just make sure to pre-book your taxi. TC Taxi knows the the cottage address well We went someplace different every day but a highlight was our trip to Derry/London Derry. I highly recommend taking the train there and paying 6 pounds for the 1.5 hour walking tour. If you like to hike I would recommend Glenariff Forest Park which is only 20 minutes from the cottage. Looking forward to coming

A traditional style cottage, down a winding lane, in beautiful Irish countryside. What more could you want? The cottage itself has the original thick walls which retains the heat. Beautiful whitewashed walls and a welcoming blue front door all add to the effect. The interior was clean and comfortable and well enough equipped for our stay. Lots to do in the immediate and surrounding areas. I highly recommend this cottage.

The accommodation was high spec. The cottage was spotlessly clean and cosy. The cottage is based on couples rather than accommodation for a family as there are only two double beds. We have had other self catering cottages in the past, but this certainly beats those. We would certainly book again without any hesitation. The cottage was perfectly situation for walking in the forest parks, walking up Slemish mountain and the coast as well as visiting Antrim and Belfast cities.
