When we arrived, we had to contact Sykes cottages due to a few things but immediately the owner called us back and sorted things out.. Very efficient. Lovely place to stay though. Great location and would recommend.

This was the third time we visited this accomodation.. And it was fantastic again!! The house has everything you want from a lovely big kitchen with al the cooking utensils to a wonderfull comfy bed . Thanks to the heating facilities it is even with the coldest weather outside , nice and warm inside. The house is situated on a golfcourse, so no trafic , nice and quiet and in the distance you can see the beautiful sights of the bay. The owner Patrick is so nice he left us a bottle of wine and a box of cookies, they where lovely Patrick, thanks a million!!! Our person of contact there was Romie, you have to love her!! Our family of 6, 2 adults and 4 children stayed here for 4 nights in March. It was just fabulous. This home is perfect, The decor was so tasteful and restful, the beds are super comfortable, and it was spotless. The furniture was so comfortable, with 2 beautiful sitting rooms so there was so much space, for relaxing and plenty of games and books. The kitchen was fully equipped, with absolutely everything you would need. We really had a great time here, Romi who met us with the key was so helpful, when there was a brief power cut in the area (which added to the excitement for my kids) Romi was up to us in 5 minutes with candles. I hope we will get to come back to stay in this house again soon, it is a perfect base for exploring the amazing walks and breathtaking scenery in Co Kerry.

The house was wonderfully comfortable and clean, with every possible facility and my wife was over the moon.. The grounds were clean and quiet. The care taker was very nice and went out of her way for us on one occasion. I would have no problem recommending this property to any family.

Stayed in this cottage in February with a couple of friends and it is genuinely the nicest holiday home I have stayed in. The cottage itself is absolutely spotless, couldn't find a thing out of place. The beds are immaculate and so comfortable. The comfort levels make getting up even harder! The kitchen area is huge and has everything you could possibly need and more. There are supermarkets close by which are perfect to buy food to stay in and cook! We had some lovely nights in making home cooked food and then sitting around the fire until the early hours watching films and chatting. Time went by a little too quickly! I loved the decor and the furniture, the whole place is cosy and homely! We weren't ready to leave! We enjoyed the small touches like the choice of board games, books and films. My friends and I are frequent travellers and all agreed this was our favourite place to stay. We cannot find a single fault which is very unusual for us! The location is perfect, just a short drive from Kenmare town where you can find amazing restaurants and lively Irish pubs! The cottage is situated in a perfect place for touring the Ring of Kerry which is breathtaking and also Kilarney's National Parks. I highly recommend staying here, the cottage is tranquil and peaceful and literally perfect! We had a very friendly welcome by the caretaker which was much appreciated. We are looking forward to returning in the summer to make use of the barbeque and to enjoy some peace and quiet in this fabulous place!

We were given excellent directions and useful information from Paul with regard our journey ,arrival and stay in Kenmare.. We received a very warm welcome from Romy who was very informative about the local area and places to visit. We had fantastic evenings out and toured the beautiful Ring of Kerry and the Beara Peninsula taking in the wonderful scenery, great food and entertainment. The Ring of Kerry Golf course was amazing and we were made to feel very welcome by the golf pro James and the club staff. We had a truly unforgettable time ....and will definitely visit again.

Excellent modern property in a great location for exploring the Ring of Kerry, Dingle and Bear peninsulas.. Disappointing there was no WiFi. Clean and very comfortable with easy car parking outside the property.

Very handy being able to walk down to the club house restaurant in the evening and not have to worry about driving home.. The food was first class especially the double burger which was definitely a whopper and tasty according to my husband, and was better value than eating in Kenmare.

This was the second time to stay at the Ring of Kerry Golf Club Cottages. The Cottages are more like small homes. The kitchen is well kitted out as described and off it is a large kitchen/dinning room table. The living area has three large sofas with great views looking over Kenmare Bay. Separate to the living room is a small TV room with a surround sound - ideal for those rainy days. The bedrooms are all large with a large main bathroom, off the master bedroom is a large ensuite bathroom. The cottages are situate behind the golf course further up the hill so you will need a car if staying in these cottages as you are about 10 minutes drive outside of Kenmare.
