Redcoat Cottage is an end-terrace cottage on holiday development The Bay, and sleeps four people in two bedrooms. There is a double and twin bedroom, as well as a family bathroom on the first floor. On the ground floor is open plan accommodation as well as a cloakroom. There are on-site activities including a heated indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room and gym, while archery lessons, tennis and fencing are also available. With a private patio and access to the shared grounds, Redcoat Cottage is great for a family holiday.

Area
The Bay near Filey is an attractive modern development with anindoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and gym. Other facilities include tennis courts, fishing and a putting green. A coffee shop and pub serving food offer refreshment, and for family fun, the sandy beach is on the doorstep. The Bay makes a great holiday base.

The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Fabulous house on a lovely site in a fantastic location.. The property is very comfortable especially the beds, there is everything you need in the house including Central heating, dishwasher, washing machine and a tv in every room, the living room tv has Netflix. I would absolutely stay here again as it’s wonderful and I really can’t fault it.

Redcoat cottage is absolutely gorgeous.. We stayed for 5 days and couldn't fault it at all. Exceptionally clean with everything you need for a self catering stay. The bed was comfortable and garden area quite private so lovely to sit outside with a cuppa or glass of wine. It's very close to the amenities on the site and the site itself is spotlessly clean. The beach is gorgeous with miles of lovely clean sand. We've stayed at the bay 3 times now and this cottage is our favourite so far. 10/10 from us.

Lovely cottage, close to the site amenities.. The accommodation itself was a great size and layout and was well equipped with everything we needed. Lots of extra little touches which made it feel homely. The only negative for us where that the carpets and general cleanliness upstairs in the property were not to a great standard, we thought they would benefit from a clean, they were quite stained and there was a smell in the second bedroom. The mattresses were not great quality and seemed to be quite old.

The cottage is clean and well equipped and situated in a quiet corner close to the pub and pharmacy.. Car parking is only a few meters from the front of the cottage and is away from the general flow of traffic. Overall this is a good holiday base which we will use again. Beach is only a five minute walk down a tarmac path which is a little steep towards the bottom which may be an issue for anyone with walking difficulties.

This cottage is highly recommended, it is spotlessly clean and has all the comforts of home. Ideally situated within easy reach of the spectacular Filey Bay and has of the Yorkshire coast resorts close by. To top it all, the accommodation is dog friendly!

Lovely clean cottage near the leisure centre, restaurant and pub.. Just a short walk to the beach which was brilliant for the dog. The pub had good food and was dog friendly. The cottage was nicely decorated and had everything you needed.

This is a lovely cottage which is ideally situated and extremely well equipped.. Decorated throughout in a bright and cheerful manner, it is very well equipped. We had a problem with the washer/dryer but Alison, the owner, solved it within 24 hours by getting a new washing machine installed. Outstanding support. The only real criticism which we could make is the lack of WiFi which seems difficult to justify in this day and age. Nonetheless we had a blast and hope to return in the not too distant future.

There's everything you need .. Everywhere was so clean . We had a lovely swim in the pool . Beach not too far away and most of all very dog friendly. All dog owners respected the area . We will defently be back .

Everything was as promised, the site was excellent, the swimming pool was very good and security on the site was excellent. Easy access to the beach and handy for trips to Filey and Scarborough. We loved the beach theme in the cottage, it had warm lots of hot water and comfy beds with lovely white bedding and white fluffy towels. No noise at all from anyone and we felt safe walking my dog at night. A lovely homely feel in the cottage and very clean, we were delighted.

From the minute we booked we received excellent service from both Sykes and the cottage owner. The property was clean and well presented with everything we needed to make our holiday with 2 small children enjoyable. The location of the property on the site was great with only a short walk to the swimming pool but we found taking the car part way down to the beach was the best option for taking everything we needed. The beach was beautiful and so quiet. We were very lucky with the weather so spent most days on the beach building sand castles and even swimming in the sea!
