It's only 4 miles from the magnificent Yorkshire coast, and the dramatic North Yorkshire moors country, which is dotted with charming villages and picturesque landscapes, is a hotspot for hikers and cyclists. Sleights has a pub, a fish and chip shop, an antique shop, a butcher's, a bakery, a hair salon, and a Post Office inside a Spar store, despite its quietness. Sleights. Sleights is a short drive from the North Yorkshire Steam Railway station, where steam trains and regular public transportation run to and from Whitby, the neighbouring port.
