Two well-behaved dogs are welcome with a charge of £25 per week applied for the 2nd dog; however, smoking is not permitted. Within 4.8 miles there is a shop and within 0.1 miles, a pub. Quoit X Barn is a charming escape to the countryside of Devon.

Bampton is a lovely Devon village nestled in a forested valley on the banks of the River Batherm, a tributary of the Exe and near to Exmoor National Park. Bampton is known for its floral displays, pony fair, and folk festival, and has attractive Georgian cottages and buildings, as well as a broad choice of stores. Fishing on the two reservoirs at Wimbleball and Clatworthy, Exmoor safaris on spectacular windswept moors, walking the Exe Valley Way, horseriding across the moor, and cycling along the Lowman Way are just a few of the country pastimes available in this rural area.
