The house was amazing. Upon arrival of collection of keys we were told they had put milk in the fridge, a loaf of bread in the freezer. That there was tea and coffee satchets, as well as a box of shortbread for us and a pack of dog treats! There was also a pack of logs for the fire! What a great start to the holiday! We had sun, rain, wind and snow whilst on holiday, but having the hot tub really makes the house worth it in all weathers. We used the massage place (literally next door) 3 times, so convenient and such a treat! A short walk to the caravan park takes you to the clubhouse, with shop, bar and restaurant (due to covid take away only). There is also a park on site for kids. Just past the park and your straight onto the Moors, an amazing place for walking the dog. Local villages are a shirt drive and great too!

It was our second time staying at Quarry Bank House,we loved it the first time and were not disappointed going back again.. It was spotlessly clean the hot tub had been drained cleaned and refilled which was great to know because that was where we spent alot of time. The garden was secure enough to let our dog roam about doing his thing and there are great walks over the moors behind the cottage. The views at front are fabulous and there is plenty of car parking space. The cottage itself has a large well equipped kitchen is comfortable and homely. The only reason it didn't get top marks for facilities is because the upstairs shower had a leak that took a few days before anyone came, guess that can happen in any house i know and covid 19 probably didn't help either.

The house is much more spacious than detailed in the description, and the views are stunning, the airstrip right next door was an added bonus for us as we are all plane enthusiasts ( for those that think it’s going to be noisy, you will be wrong as they are light aircraft and only fly once o twice a week, and as the house is very well insulated, you can not hear anything from inside the property! ) and enjoyed watching the planes take off and land

The house was lovely although the double bed was uncomfortable.. The view was stunning. Little field just below was a bonus because it was great for dogs or playing ball games. Little airstrip behind house with light aircraft’s taking off and landing which my daughter loved as her career is in aviation. Some lovely walks about and nice to relax in hot tub then watch a film of choice from Netflix. We had a lovely family week away in this stunning location.

Just back from a break at quarry bank house and I can honestly say it was fabulous. Very spacious, well equipped and comfortable, it felt like a home from home. Everything was spotlessly clean and the beds comfortable. Plenty of parking space and the views from the house are amazing too. The bar at upwood is great too. Looking forward to booking again in the summer!

Property could be stunning but it needs a lot of work! All crockery and cutlery was dirty and needed cleaning, the knife set needs replacing! Hot tub is a health hazard, left with bruising across my nose from the handle. Blood on the duvet (found after we stripped the beds as that’s what the rule book states!) dogs not to be exercised in the garden in this dog friendly property! Beam above the window hanging out of the wall, broken glass lampshade at head height, mould on ceiling in bedroom, paint flaking off, bbq rusty, baking trays don’t fit in the oven and were disgusting and Sykes aren’t interested at all. Won’t be booking with them again!

The house was absolutely gorgeous set in breathtaking scenery in easy reach to so many fantastic & interesting locations! We were thoroughly depressed to have to go home including our dog, Toby. Can't wait to visit again!

Wonderful property and location, had a great week and would return.. Great layout, lots of space and very comfortable. We had a cold, wet week but the house was always warm and cosy with plenty of hot water. They also fitted an additional gate to dog proof the front section of the garden while we were there, following previous feedback, which was great. Very friendly and helpful too.

Fantastic location.. great cottage. lovely staff. hot tub thoroughly enjoyed. lovely walks for my husband and spaniel Bella. The cottage is very well equipped. we did loose hot water and central heating for a day. but was quickly fixed. The only downsides were, some deep cleaning is needed, dining chairs a dirty and carpet edges need a good hoover. felt rushed on the last morning as the Plummer came to investigate the boiler, we have a very nervy dog which had to be caged whilst we got ready. also they came to empty the hot tub which does take a while, he then started cleaning it which was reassuring but felt rushed as it was well before our check out time.

Fantastic cottage in an absolutely idyllic setting.. Cottage needs a few bits doing to it but I appreciate that it is getting toward the end of the season. Disappointed that no hand wash supplied in bathrooms and also only bin bags were already in bins with no extras supplied. Cottage was otherwise just what we needed, shame we didn't have longer there.

What a hidden gem we arrived to tea coffee milk and even a treat for the dog the cottage was in immaculate condition and the views was amazing. There was a log burner to keep you warm but we only had to use this once and the hot tup outside is great for looking at the stars at night whilst keeping warm. There was a double bed and 2 singles and 2 bunk beds there is also a dining room to eat as well as a outside table. We ate on the camp site for 2 nights which is just a 5 minute walk away the food was very nice and very very big portions. There is loads of walks to be had around the area so if you are looking to escape and take your dog this is a def one to relax you from head to toe

Cottage was great.. Hot tub was fantastic to sit out in even in the snow. Very friendly helpful managers. Very spacious rooms. Log burner was a very welcome addition. Extra log supplies were no problem with the owners. Fresh flowers, box of biscuits along with milk, and coffee & sugar upon arrival were a nice welcoming touch. The only downside were that the beds seemed a little low and it would of been perfect if the twin beds could have been put together as a double. Overall though a fantastic cottage and would not hesitate to book cottage again if going back to the area.

First time booking a cottage, i was given the task of finding and booking it, me and my wife are in our 50's my daughter and her fiance 20's and my youngest daughter 15, plus 2 dogs.. my daughter arrived first and the text my wife got as we were still on our way, just read OMG amazing. when we got there we realized she wasn't exaggerating, it looks impressive as you pull up the drive into the gravel court yard and when you step inside it is equally impressive, all well laid out graveled area out back with a small porch or boot room leads into the kitchen, large dinning room and very large lounge with large smart tv and best of all according to my children WIFI, upstairs there is a two good sized double bedrooms one with a double bed the other twin singles and a smaller room with bunk-beds in, bathroom only has a shower, no bath. outside is the hot tub which is lovely even in October, no roof but screened off with glass, at the start of the drive there is a grassed fenced off area which we let the dogs have a charge around on, there are plenty of walks to do and the nearby town of Haworth is very nice with lots of character, we took a trip on the steam train, would i go back there, yes indeed

Quarry Bank House is a fantastic place to stay. The rooms are all of a good size and very comfortable. The kitchen has all the pans and utensils that you could need, plus a large range style gas oven. The views were stunning, made even better by the fact that you could enjoy them from the hot tub. Although rural, it's easy to get out and about. We never travelled longer than about an hour and a half but visited some interesting places.
