Yes lovely place to stay secluded just what I wanted lovely touches like milk in fridge biscuits texts from Keith the owner to say welcome and wishing us a nice time.. a few things that we noticed was that the cobwebs that where high up on various ceilings and a good few loose tiles in the kitchen and bathroom. don't get me wrong the place was lovely and Keith couldn't do enough to help. I would stay there again defiantly

Keith was very accommodating and asked if there was anything he could put in place to make our break more enjoyable for our disabled daughter,he put wheels on one of the single beds to make it easier for pulling out the bed so we could get either side for getting our daughter dressed and changed.. The cottage is clean, well appointed and comfortable We had a lovely time and will definitely be returning in the near future Thankyou Keith

Great cottage , all on one level and could use wheelchair to get around.. Very comfortable and when we had a small problem it was sorted immediately. very dog friendly. however although there is a paddock to walk them round there are no public footpaths nearby if you want to take the dogs for a longer walk in the morning. Beware of the rabbits. ample parking and good storage. nice outdoor area to sit and watch the rabbits playing. Would recommend this cottage to anyone with a disability but who is still able to move around as no grab rails.and dog lovers.

Pottowe Cottage provides a perfect base for exploring the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors and coast.. It is located in a quiet and peaceful setting with glorious views of the Cleveland Hills. The cottage is spacious, clean, comfortable and very well equipped. The owner is very helpful and friendly . It is especially recommended for wheelchair users as the corridors are wide and the accessibile bathroom is very user friendly. We enjoyed our stay immensely and our disabled son was so comfortable. We highly recommend a holiday at Pottowe Cottage.

Pottofields Farm has two cottages, Cooper Cottage and Pottowe Cottage. I originally booked Cooper Cottage but realised later on that it didn't have a walk-in shower which my husband needed, whereas Pottowe Cottage has a walk-in shower as well as Spa bath. I immediately contacted the owner, Mr. Mungham and asked if it was possible to swap and was very good but asked me to contact the agent as well as I booked it through them so that it can't be double booked for the period of our holiday. The owner was very welcoming and very friendly. There was a welcome pack of biscuits, large bottle of milk, tea and coffe which was much appreciated. The cottage is beautifully furnished and the doors are wide so suitable for wheelchair-user. My husband has mobility problem so the cottage suited us really well. All the rooms are at ground level and there are two bedrooms, one double and one twin. The best selling point for the property is the location, it is very quiet so you are guaranteed a good night's sleep. It is also a great place for walkers, I am not a walker myself but I paint so I was doing just that after we've been out for the day. The only negative about the place is that there is no wi-fi on offer so if you come and hope to do your work, it's not easy. It was also not easy to find the place as Blackhorse lane is long so the SatNav took us to the other end and we ended up in the neighbouring village of Swainby but Mr Mungham met us at the top of the highway, after we called him. If you are a member of English Heritage and Historic Houses Association, there are several places to visit. There is Kiplin Hall just beyond Thirsk, Castle Howard, Rievaulx Abbey, Byland Abbey, Helmsley Castle, Kirkham Priory and several others. There is not as many National Trust in this area but the seaside town of Saltburn-by-the Sea is a lovely place to visit and don't miss Helmsley too. We found the nearby towns of Guisborough, Northallerton and Stokesley to be good to explore. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to get away from it all as it's so tranquil.

A great place for families and anyone who needs a wheelchair accessible space. We have a dog and it was a perfect spot for him.

A beautifully appointed cottage which can guarantee a perfectly relaxing and peaceful experience. High ceiling in the living area emphasizes the space in this cottage, plenty of hot water, and the heating system will keep you as warm as can be imagined, even in England! Fabulous scenery for walkers to get away from it all into the hills. For drivers just buy a local route map and challenge yourself to experience the wonders of the North Yorkshire Moors. Close to market towns of Stokesley and Northallerton, wonderful fresh meat and veg. Keith is the most welcoming host and will ensure your stay is memorable. Local pub in Potto serves good food and a friendly welcome. Sad to leave and would definitely recommend to others.

We enjoyed the relaxed feeling of the cottage and its surroundings. I also liked the fact that nothing was limited e.g hot water, logs etc as it can be in some places. The owner of the cottage was lovely and very informative.

A lovely cottage with easy access for my elderly parents. The cottage is beautifully decorated and very well equipped. The cottage is in a lovely setting. Lots of nice touches including biscuits, milk, tea and coffee supplied on arrival. We were very lucky with the weather but in the cooler evenings the cottage was lovely and warm. We had a family get together during our stay and 10 adults were easily accommodated in the large kitchen/lounge area.We can highly recommend! The Blacksmith's Arms in Swainby is also fantastic for Sunday lunch. You will not leave hungry! The area is beautiful and so many of the surrounding villages are gorgeous that we will definitely need to return to try out the many pubs and tea shops.
