Pendle View is a semi-detached barn conversion near Settle. The cottage has a second floor family room with super king-size bed (which can be offered as a twin) and a single bed, offering loads of flexibility. On the first floor is a bathroom and a sitting room, and on the ground floor is the kitchen with dining area. Outside, there is off road parking, a balcony and shared grounds. Pendle View makes a wonderful year-round retreat for families or friends to enjoy all the Dales have to offer.

Over three floors. Two bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x second floor family room with 1 super king-size double (zip/link, can be twin on request) and 1 single. Bathroom with bath, separate shower, basin and WC. Kitchen with dining area. First floor sitting room.

Area
Settle is a popular market town situated at the south west rim of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The market day in Settle is held on a Tuesday and the town has shops, restaurants, pubs and a public swimming pool. The famous Settle-Carlisle Railway crosses some of the most beautiful and inspiring upland scenery in the country and the natural attractions of Malham Cove and Gordale Scar are well worth exploring. Also within driving distance is the nearby towns of Skipton and Malham.

From heather-clad moors and limestone scars, to market towns and the steady pace of country life - the sublime Dales await you! Where else in Britain is it as satisfying to sit and do nothing as it is to explore the numerous pursuits on offer?

This cottage is stunning, alot of attention to detail as well.. Has all the home comforts you would expect and the kitchen is just amazing! We loved waking up to the stunning views each day and had the most amazing weather for the end of October! So much to see and explore in the Yorkshire Dale's , would def reccomend anyone to stay here and explore the area

I booked for a weeks holiday with my mum and grandaughters. The cottage is in a suberb location perfect for exploring all the attractions of the north yorkshire moor. We also visited the coast, again easily accessable from the cottage. There is everything you need in this beautiful home from home and the views are stunning. I would definately recommend this cottage.

My family and I just spent a week here and were very pleased with the accommodation,it's got fantastic views,very well maintained and clean,it ,had everything we needed for our stay.. It was easier to find than we thought and was central to a lot of trips out that we planned.Settle is literally 5 mins away if you need any groceries etc.We would definitely come back and would highly recommend this cottage.

The cottage is very well equipped, spacious and clean, with beautiful views.. I could quite happily live there permanently. We enjoyed walking in the local countryside and visiting several of the pretty little villages nearby, where we could eat locally grown food in the pubs and restaurants.

Anna and Steven who owned the cottage were so lovely and welcoming.. The cottage was extremely clean and all the luxurys you required and there is even full sky TV. Could not connect to any internet and quickly used up my allowance with my provider but it was then actually really nice being off the grid for half of the week. Its in a central location and the views are out of this world. If you have an extremely stressful job as I do then this is a must, I left all my stress in a suitcase at the front door when I arrived and went I left the stress suitcase was gone, magic ❤

Lovely cottage in a beautiful location.. The cottage had everything you could need. The full sky package and added bonus of some friendly cats made it a real home from home! Lots to do around the area so it was an excellent base for Yorkshire, the lakes and trough of bowland. Can't recommend it enough.

Oh my goodness, what a find.. A very well thought of cottage, with actually everything you needed to stay in, cook and relax. But where this cottage really comes into its own is the location, set a few minutes from the Town of Settle, its off the main road and in a location, that you couldn't help but fall in love with. With uninterrupted views of scenery, livestock and the occasional steam train, we couldn't ask for anymore. You could literally walk in just about any direction along some un-busy paths or the location put you central for many local attractions that could be driven too. We look for a holiday home that matches or exceeds our own home, this did just that. You would have to be very picky to think of how this cottage could be improved.

The cottage was in very good order and had excellent facilities ( a 2nd toilet would have been handy though as there were 5 of us, but it's not a major issue).. The under floor heating was a real bonus - we felt the cold when we returned home! The kitchen, in particular, was way above our expectations: far nicer than ours at home and with those spectacular views, it really made the cottage for us. The arrival gifts of Prosecco and mine pies was kind and greatly appreciated . We have recommended the place to our family ....

First class cottage, very clean and well equipped, wonderful views from the cottage, first class walking country. Full Sky TV, although the Wfii connection is very slow however the owners told me that there are plans to upgrade it in the near future. Near to Settle and Skipton both towns worth a visit, very good Farmers Market at Skipton, also Kirby Lonsdale is a lovely town, there is a beautiful 16th century Church there and some interesting shops also great walks along the river bank the views are breathtaking. Anna and Steve the cottage owners are very welcoming. We had a very enjoyable week and the weather was marvellous--sun all the way!

This cottage is in an excellent and quiet location where you can look across the beautiful views from the kitchen. It is designed over three floors to the highest of standards and really well equipped. A lawned area out the front was also nice for the children to play and the owners were really friendly. From the cottage location you can easily get to places to see and we enjoyed the lovely walks and excellent village pubs. This really felt like home and we would definitely return.

The cottage's location was perfectly placed, close to settle and a drive away from the dales. The views from the cottage are phenomenal and such a beautiful thing to look out at on a morning whilst eating breakfast! We felt that the photos on the website do not do it justice, they do not illustrate the sheer size of the property or display its layout clearly - being on different levels. We also felt that the kitchen was the heart of the property, it was a great space to make meals, have a few drinks and a giggle, I can see it being a wonderful space for families too. It was the perfect retreat for both couples and we wished we could have stayed longer and the owners were extremely welcoming. Thank-you for such a glorious long weekend break!
