What a fabulous weekend grateful to Alex & Ceri for sharing their amazing property with us to celebrate my Mum's 80th Birthday. The location is just stunning the access is challenging but easily navigated with caution & well worth the effort once you get to the house. Once there everything was to hand for the party of 13 of us to celebrate in style. The space the property gave us made for a very special weekend Thank You

Stayed here In August and the stay was not nice and ruined our annual family holiday. Would not recommend. No heating, unhygienic, everyone got sick and broken promises from Mr Bond. Not something I would expect from a 00.

We have just returned from celebrating new year at this wonderful house. The location is stunning but quite remote (excellent when you have kids and dogs). The house is off the beaten track and is in an absolutely stunning location. We had plenty of fluffy visitors during our stay who decided to eat all of Alex (owners) shrubs and plants - much to our amusement :) the house itself is really rustic and cosy. There is plenty of space for all 15 of us to escape to. There are 2 bedrooms on the ground floor, one of these is a through room. Didn't bother us in the slightest but would perhaps suit the early risers or like we did for those that snore!! There are a further 2 bedrooms from the large kitchen and a further 4 rooms via the snug on the other side of the house! (2 separate staircases). There is plenty of utensils in both kitchens and really good ovens too! We even managed to prepare and cook a full Christmas dinner for a murder mystery evening. The only recommendation we would make is that a bigger fridge/freezer would be useful. Luckily we were able to keep a few bottles outside :) All in all, Alex and his team have created a beautiful cosy and rustic farmhouse and we would definitely look to book again. Thanks again Alex!

Alex and his team have made a beautiful home, which has made a peaceful holiday for me and my family. The views are amazing and it's tucked away- I couldn't get over how quiet it was, great for a nice get away holiday to relax and enjoy the sunset views from the house or from the fields above. Plenty of walking and cycling to do around the area with stunning views of the valleys. Will be booking again definitely and taking full advantage of the space available for our big family as there is plenty of bedrooms and large dining areas in the gorgeous house. Thank you Jimmy

Pant Dafydd Goch is a lovely old house with loads of character alongside modern facilities. The property is located in a remote and beautiful location. The views from the property are stunning and the sun shines on the house from sunrise to sunset. The house is perfect for big family gatherings or for holidays with groups of friends and children. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the surrounding area and can advise on places to visit.

Beautifully renovated old farm house.. Very cosy, with amazing views. Ideal location, not far from Llangollen but feels very remote. Lots of great walks from the door. Perfect family get away.

Just be aware that the farmhouse is in the middle of nowhere so Is quite difficult to explain to taxi companies where you are going as the road is unnamed.. The driveway is through fields over a cattle grid so I wouldn’t attempt this in a low or sports car. The property itself is lovely and couldn’t fault it. Plenty of pubs and planes to eat in the nearby villages. Everyone is very polite.

This cottage is the perfect little hideaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life so peaceful and quiet with amazing views and a great location to explore all the site around Chirk and Llangollen, with a family of of 6 and 2 dogs we couldn’t of had a better family time away ..

The house was lovely, filled with character.. Plenty of space for us with 2 kids and 2 dogs. A little difficult to find as it’s quite isolated, got there with directions from the owner who was more than helpful. Llangollen was only a 10 minute drive away.

A lovely cottage and we had a very good family holiday.. Just a note on the directions to find the property there is no sign for hang gliding centre.

Alex was there to meet us when we arrived and also when we left, which made it personable.. Alex made it known we could contact him at anytime should we need to know or require anything...a perfect friendly host. We did get a little lost trying to find the cottage, we followed the instructions Alex had recommend instead of following the sat nav route; this made it even more a special journey-it was like a treasure hunt trail :) The only problem was the last sign to follow for the directions had been removed, hence us getting lost; why we didn't think to ring Alex for help, who knows! :) It is a remote property therefore the path to it is across a field and a stoney rocky path, which may not be suitable for all vehicles, but it is definitely all worth it, you become part of the country scenery and make friends with the sheep :) The property is beautiful, very rustic. If anything there are a few things that require attention, such as a fault on a panel of the double glazing, which makes it look misty and the garden could be tidied, but nothing major at all. The bedding and towels were super white and clean, everything was very clean, all the pots and drinking glasses were sparkling. The bathrooms were equally as clean and pristine. A basket of goodies and a fridge with condiments was a very welcoming touch. We sat around the dining table for an evening meal with the patio doors open, it was bliss. After 2 nights we were all beginning to wish the cottage belonged to us, it has a beautiful homely feeling and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would definitely recommend this relaxing authentic cottage to anyone. Thank you Alex, from 7 beautiful, just 50year old girls X X X X X X X

A truly relaxing place with great views. So peaceful and quiet. The house itself is quirky well equipped with plenty of space. 2 lovely lounge areas and a garden that was sunny all day. My Father in law didn’t want to come home! Ideal location for exploring the area. Llangollen is a couple of mins away a beautiful town with river flowing through it. Betws-y-Coed another beauty and the coast less than an hour away with Chirk Castle on your doorstep. White water rafting close by even a Parasailing and hang gliding launch site only 50 m from the entrance track with breathtaking views. Thank you Alex we had a great holiday.

Amazing property, beautifully renovated.. Lovely touches throughout. We had a family birthday here and thoroughly enjoyed the tranquility of the space and amazing views. We really felt relaxed and rested here. We did have to flag down the food delivery up at the main road but that was quite fun so didn't cause us any issues. Alex was a fantastic host nothing was too much trouble, he really went out of his way to help us on a few occasions. Would love to revisit and highly recommend to anyone looking for a special property and amazing views.
