A small but very cosy and appropriately equipped cottage, which comes highly recommended for a few days away. In addition to its central heating, it has a small log burner, which makes for a cosy evening in on a chilly evening, after a walk in the surrounding countryside. It was a a delight to find that the fridge and bread bin had basic provisions in them on our arrival, including the delicious local delicacy of Lincolnshire Plum Loaf! All in all a delightful few days away.

We have just returned from a stay at Old Blacksmiths Cottage and would recommend the cottage without any reservations. The cottage exceeded our expectations, for a small place it has everything you could want, the bed was very comfortable and the en suite shower room was lovely. The owners provided a lovely welcome pack that was ideal! Location wise it was great, ideal for our trip to Cadwell Park. Market Rasen was a bit disappointing (none of the pubs were offering food on the bank holiday) but if you venture the other way to Louth that has more than enough pubs and restaurants and plenty of shops too!
