New Stable Cottage is a stone-built stable conversion situated near the village of Lealholm in North Yorkshire. It provides two bedrooms including a super king-size and a twin, there is also a family bathroom and a shower room, the property can sleep up to four people. Its interior also includes a kitchen/diner as well as a sitting room with an electric fire. To the outside there is off-road parking for two cars as well as a rear garden with a patio, a raised patio and a raised lawn with furniture and a gas barbecue. New Stable Cottage is a tasteful getaway from which to discover the wonderful North York Moors.

Two bedrooms: 1 x super king-size, 1 x twin. Bathroom with a freestanding bath, basin and WC, ground floor shower room with basin and WC. Kitchen with dining area. Sitting room with electric fire.

Area
Lealholm is in the Esk Valley within the North York Moors National Park, a 15-minutes drive from Whitby and the coast. It is a village with a Post Office, shop, pub, tea rooms and a restaurant. There are countryside walks from your doorstep. Nearby, be sure to pay a visit to Whitby, Staithes and Runswick Bay.

The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Shop and pub 1.5 miles. Please note: there is currently an ongoing issue with the TV signal at the property, there is free satellite in the lounge but no other areas have T.V signal. There is still internet connection.

The cottage was exceptional, Sallie the owner was very kind left us bread and milk and cake for arrival.. The cottage was very well looked after the garden was lovely. The only thing I could say the pictures do not do it justice. Great location too. Highly recommend this cottage to anyone.

The cottage was very comfortable, well equipped.. We went for a relaxing weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Lots to do in the area, not close to shops, but not too far away. In a quiet village. Welcome pack of bread, milk, cake included. Hope to return for a longer break later in the year.

New Stable Cottage is beautifully presented, spacious, warm and welcoming.. It is situated in stunning surroundings, remote and quiet, yet with lots of varying routes to get to main roads, shops etc. It is so well equipped we felt like it was a home from home and could have stayed there indefinitely. There are beautiful villages and hamlets close at hand and any number of walks in the surrounding countryside. It is close to the coastal towns of Whitby, Robin Hood’s Bay, Staithes and Runswick Bay. We probably only scratched the surface of the area during our week but have beeen left with memories of a wonderful, relaxing break. Sallie, the owner of the cottage was very welcoming and full of ideas of things to do. The welcoming bread and milk were a nice touch! I am sure we will be back!

New Stable Cottage was wonderful and the owner was most welcoming.. I would say it is the nicest holiday cottage we have ever stayed in. The garden was beautiful and I have taken away some planting tips! The Sykes website and service was excellent. The website is extremely easy to use and navigate and email updates and instructions were very clear.
