Mayfly lodge is a newly refurbished three bed-roomed house on the outskirts of the beautiful and historical village of Cong, made famous in the film 'The Quiet Man'. Ashford castle is close by and we are the perfect location for exploring Connemara. Cong is also renowned for its natural beauty and is popular with anglers as it is located between two lakes, Lough Corrib and Lough Mask. The house has a modern kitchen with oven and hob and a dishwasher. There is also a washing machine and tumble dryer for your convenience and private parking at the front of the property. There is oil-fired central heating and also a cosy wood burning stove in the living-room. An 8 to 10 minute walk will bring you into the village where you will find a wide variety of pubs, restaurants and shops.
