This single-storey lodge has two king-size bedrooms with TVs and a bathroom along with an open-plan living space with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with gas fire. Appliances include an electric double oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, smoothie-maker and food-processor and for entertainment there are three TVs, WiFi, Bose sound system, DVD, Sky TV, CD player and aux cable. Outside, there is off-road parking and wraparound decking with a sunken hot tub, barbecue and furniture. One well-behaved pet is welcome, however this is a non-smoking property. Fuel, power bed linen and towels are all included, and you can find a shop and pub in 3.3 miles. Please note, no children under 7. Lodge 27 is a lovely lodge for a break to beautiful Devon.

Area
Woolsery, a tiny village in North Devon, has a local store. Nearby Hartland Forest has hundreds of acres of Forestry Commission woods, while Clovelly, 5 miles distant, is known for its flower-strewn cottages and steep cobblestone pathway to the 14th-century port. Much of the beachfront from Bideford to Bude is part of the National Trust's Heritage Coastline, featuring stunning hikes and spectacular cliffs at Hartland Quay. Surfing instruction are given at Bude and Tamar Lakes.

Region
Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
