'Little Acre' provided everything we needed to make a 'Home from Home'.. Bruce, Phil and Louise made our stay very comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble. Their hospitality made us feel very welcome and was second to none.

The cottage is situated in a quiet area of Torwood approximately a 20 minute walk from Torquay harbour.. The facilities within are very good, however the wifi was extremely intermittent, nevertheless, it is in a good location, near enough to the explore the local area - the Kents pub is just up the road and a great place to have a drink and a bite to eat. A great weeks holiday.

Little Acre was easy to find, close to essential amenities and the owner has left us very useful information for the area.. The walks to the beaches and surrounds are fabulous. The owner has been a great host. We enjoyed our holiday very much and would definitely visit again.

Very nice accommodation. Perfectly situated and handy for local shops. Lovely walks on the doorstep and the finest beach in Torbay less than one mile away.

In the lovely community of Wellswood. Very smart cottage with 3 bedrooms. Very well equipped kitchen - but if you're serious about cooking, you may want to bring your own knives. We're going back very soon.

Cottage in great location, plenty of space, off street parking.. Wifi not working (sent the owner two messages as he was working away but no response) so had to purchase additional data and use alternative wifi as 3G/4G signal poor at location. Maybe the age of cottage but quite a damp feel (fortunately it was quite mild for the time of year so not a big problem). Dishwasher not working (but we were told about this) and knives not sharp (just minor things). All in all we really enjoyed our stay.

Ideally located for a family holiday or a couple who need a peaceful break. Beaches and coastal walks are within walking distance .Torque is just a mile away and the beauty of the English Riviera on your doorstep. The owners’ hospitality is impeccable! The cottage itself is clean, quiet, homely and really well equipped. There is a supermarket, a pharmacy a pub a patisserie, an amazing deli and a couple of restaurants within a two-minute walk. Would strongly recommend for a couple or a family!

The owners of this property have created a lovely space, in a great location that has everything you could want for a brilliant week away. The house is well equipped with everything you'll need for self-catering, and it is walking distance to shops. There are some lovely places to eat just up the road. We were also able to walk to a good little park and two beaches with our young children. There was loads to keep the the children entertained within a walk or a short drive. We love the beaches in the area, they are really family friendly. We also made use of the local swimming pool, good for a rainy day.

This is the second time we stayed at Little Acre and will definitely be going again. The cottage is so ideally located. There are so many beautiful walks in every direction and a small parade of shops nearby for everything you need. Torquay town is nearby and we tend to walk in but a its only a short bus ride for the less able. The cottage is clean, quiet and very homely with all the usual features along with easy parking. I can`t recommend Little Acre highly enough as a great base for a family holiday.

The cottage is obviously a very much loved home and the owners obviously care not only about their cottage, but also about their guests' holiday.. There is everything there that you could possibly need, over and above the well equipped kitchen. We had a fantastic time and would thoroughly recommend this cottage to anyone. It really is a home from home. We would like to visit the area again for another holiday, and when we do we will want to come back to this cottage.

We had a wonderful week in this cosy cottage that is in such a fabulous location. Within walking distance of the beach, town centre and a beautiful part of the south west coast path. The cottage is tucked away on a quiet side street and yet there are a variety of great shops right on your doorstep including a superb patisserie and traditional pub. Would love to return at some point in the not too distant future.

The cottage is situated in a quiet side road, within a two minute walk of a small parade of shops. This includes a supermarket for everyday needs, several tasteful coffee shops, a pub and a delicatessen, all providing excellent food and friendly service. The coastal path is within walking distance and the surrounding area provides walks ranging from cliff top or sea front, to a gentle after dinner stroll, all with spectacular views. Within easy driving distance are beaches, picturesque coastal towns and the tranquility of Dartmoor. Little Acre was perfect to return to after a busy day or simply to stay 'at home' to read and relax. We can’t wait to go back.

Great for families. Within walking distance to a variety of beaches. We spend a short week here, went to a different beach every day, had a few meals out (lots of choice nearby), and the house provides an excellent base.

This cottage is the perfect base for a family holiday to explore the area, where beaches, tourist attractions, walks, and shopping is all easily accessible. The house itself is wonderfully appointed with all you will need to relax in the evenings after a day of activities. We went sea fishing from Paignton, went on a ferry round the bay, visited Dartmouth, loved Babbacombe bay, where there is the Babbacombe Cliff Railway. On the beach front there are kayaks, and safe relaxation. The enclosed bay makes it a safe place for children. The local shops make life easy in the cottage, a big Co-op is next to a secluded paved area with a café. A small paved garden provides somewhere to sit on a warm evening. We loved it.
