The town of Killorglin is situated in County Kerry near the River Laune. With great scenery, Killorglin is the gateway to the Ring of Kerry and offers many cafes, restaurants and pubs. The town is also home to a Puck Fair, one of Ireland's oldest street festivals, held every August.

County Kerry is a mystical and unspoilt part of Ireland, with spectacular natural beauty and a fascinating history. Facing the Atlantic Ocean, it features many sandy beaches, rocky inlets and stunning peninsulas.

Laharn cottage is close to Killorglin a lovely town with good shops and restaurants but still historic charm.. Also a place from which to visit Ring of Kerry, Dingle peninsula, Tralee with its beautiful gardens and nearby bays and also Killarney, Kenmare and Killarney National Park. The cottage is gorgeous recently renovated with a great kitchen 2 bathrooms 2 double bedrooms and is very quiet in a rural setting. We mostly self catered did our washing before leaving and slept each night for a week like logs.Thank you Brian and Mary. It was great.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Laharn cottage.. Very clean and comfortable. Perfect location to visit the Ring of Kerry and the Dingle Peninsula. The local town had good restaurants and the cottage itself was well equipped to make our own meals as well. Brian and Mary were great hosts. We highly recommend a stay there to anyone.

The cottage was very clean, practical to use, well equipped without being overloaded with stuff.. Cooking for 4 during an entire week might be a challenge with the available equipment. However, it's so easy to have dinner or lunch in a nearby pub or restaurant, that we did very limited cooking only.

The Laharn Cottage is a remarkably well renovated cottage with a modern feel and everything one could possibly need in a holiday home.. The roomy central living area, with the bathrooms and bedrooms on both sides is just perfect. I wish we had booked a second week there; there's enough to see in the neighbourhood: beaches, mountains, excellent sights to see by car... Sigh!

Laharn cottage was perfect accommodation, spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped.. The position was perfect for touring around the Ring of Kerry and beyond. The owners were so friendly and helpful and made us feel so welcome. We would highly recommend staying here and hope to return in the future
