We had a lovely week despite a lot of rain and wind.. I couldn't fault the cottage and the views. The only thing I would draw attention to is the parking between two muck heaps. I didn't bother us because we are used to the outdoors, but I think some people would not enjoy the smells.

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location.. The cottage is well equipped and restored to a really high standard. We had a really good nights sleep in the very comfortable beds. The owner was really helpful, even bringing more wood for the fire when the weather turned cold. Thanks very much would definitely visit again.

We try to get back to the Saddleworth area every three years and would love to stay at Jim's Barn again.. The narrow road to Jim's was not a problem for us because we had spent the previous six weeks driving around country areas of Scotland, Wales and Ireland, however some drivers might be put off by it. Because the farm also has stables and there is a shooting range further on up the road meant that there was more traffic on the track with limited passing areas. The view is magnificent, we love the farm environment, and have a special love for the Saddleworth area. Thank you.

The cottage was perfect for what I wanted on this trip.. I was met by the owner upon arrival and made to feel very welcome. All in all a fabulous week and I will seriously consider a return trip in the summer.

The cottage was very professionally managed but what made it exceptional were the personal touches. Our stay felt personal, that we weren't just a source of income but that the owners were genuinely interested that we had a good experience. In addition to a brilliantly refurbished cottage the views were breath taking.

The views were beautiful and the peace was amazing. The family and staff were all friendly. The area has plenty to do and we would return. It was exceptionally wonderful as it was where I lived when I was 6. We brought my mother who has dementia and it brought back lots of memories.
