The cottage was ideally suited for the centre of Ludlow for walking distance, also central for a lot of other destinations.. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and would recommend Inglenook.

This was our second visit to Inglenook and we remain as impressed as we were the first time.. The location is perfect and the cottage is very comfortable. The owners leave a welcome pack which is enjoyable as well as being useful. We hope to go a third time.

The property provided clean, warm and welcoming accommodation - especially needed during the June 'summer' weather we experienced! A major bonus is it's location - a short walk into delightful Ludlow with Tesco, Aldi & the train station closer still. The weather prevented us experiencing the garden during our week but the quiet location would enhance any break ... given the weather. It was good to come back to a cosy bungalow with CH that added to the welcome at the end of each outing. The brief on the property should be 'broadened"' to expand on the description of the 'leafy lane'. It is a narrow one way track with an un-made surface ... thankfully we never met another vehicle but the track could be improved with a liberal spreading of chippings to reduce mud especially on footwear.

Hi great place very clean, downside was it was accessed by an overgrown track rather than a road.. Not a problem for us but could be for the less mobile. Also minor point no shaver point.

To begin with, the Owner was kind enough to call and make sure we understood that a few people had found the house a bit small for a group of 5 adults, in case we had missed those opinions in the description of the property and needed to reconsider.. Perhaps because we were a family and able to be a bit more "familiar" than another group might have been, we didn't have any real difficulties. It did take some time to get going in the morning, showering one after the other, but there was always lots of hot water and we had no early morning plans! The weather was cold, but the house was easy to keep warm and though we didn't need the woodfire, it was cheering in the evening. Also, the beds were comfortable; the kitchen was very well stocked with every necessity; and (most important for some) the wifi never let us down! We had a lovely family holiday in Ludlow and at Ingelnook, thank you.

Quite difficult to find the place and the accommodation was clean and tidy but not really suitable for more than a couple of adults, mainly as there was only one shower and toilet which made it interesting juggling in the mornings. Limited power sockets in one of the double bedrooms and no wardrobe at all in the other! As with all holiday accommodation it's the attention to detail that gets missed, like not enough cooking utensils, pegs, coat hangers etc, silly things that get missed but are annoying when there aren't enough....could do with a dishwasher too if you hadn't it filled to capacity..good base though for going out and about

My husband and I recently stayed for 2 weeks at Inglenook and we are so delighted. It was like being in our own home. The kitchen was more than adequate for cooking and baking ( made our own scones) and fully equipped with all the washing up and cleaning supplies one would need on a day to day basis - even provided aluminum foil and plastic wrap. I've never seen this in all my years of renting self catering. The house is very tidy, the beds very comfortable. Having a private walled garden was the icing on the cake. Ideal location for walking into town or to Tesco. We highly recommend Inglenook.

Rena and I stayed at Inglenook for a long period of time between December 2016 and March 2017 whilst we where in between work contracts. Both James and Catherine looked after us so well and are incredibly friendly. Inglenook really does has everything you'd need for a great get away. As a family we had many wonderfully evenings cooking in the kitchen and then sitting by the log burner stove...a lot of fond memories were made with our 2 children who just loved the place so very much. We even managed to have a fantastic BBQ in the sun trap garden on our last weekend. Inglenook is so private down it's tree lined drive, but then so very close to town. We will deeply miss it all...thank you James and Catherine for making us feel so at home.

Great Location, no need to use the car if you enjoy walking in Ludlow.. Many walks from the centre of town. Parking on site was good, good supermarkets close by, really quiet location.

October 2016
Lovely little cottage and very well equipped.. We were left a bottle of wine, chocs and a pint of milk which was a nice welcome touch. However, we did find it a bit difficult for four adults sharing one bathroom so probably wouldn't rent that particular cottage again. Shame really. There is a small third bedroom that would make a great little second bathroom but then it could only house four adults and not five. Ample parking and pretty little garden too. Ludlow and the surrounding villages and towns are delightful. Marie, Peter, Joan and Norman. From West Sussex and Surrey.

I can only really echo what others have said in that Inglenook is a superb property, it is clean, cozy with a wood burning stove, has good Wi-Fi and is in a peaceful location but only a short distance from the centre of Ludlow. The owner had left a card and bottle of wine for us when we arrived which was a very nice touch and if I had to make any criticism it would be that it might be a little bit short on space if it was occupied by five people!! The only thing that I can add that others have not mentioned is that Ludlow has an excellent leisure Centre with a pool and small but very good gym and this is about one mile away from the property.

Our family had a lovely stay at Inglenook. The layout makes good use of the space and the location is wonderfully peaceful and safe. We all enjoyed the pretty garden, especially our two year old daughter. We left something behind when we left and the owners were very kind to send it on to us in the post. They also left chocolates, wine, milk and a welcome card for our arrival - they had thought of everything! A cosy, clean and peaceful bungalow - would definitely recommend.

As soon as we arrived at Inglenook we all relaxed, It is so quiet except for beautiful birdsong. Hard to believe it is such a close easy walk to Ludlow centre with the bustling market, lovely restaurants, cafes and shops. The house was immaculately clean and extremely well equipped. I felt everything had been thought of to make our stay as comfortable as possible, including great mattresses. There was plenty of space for our family of four. The sheltered garden is a lovely sun trap with a flat grass area big enough to kick a ball around and a patio with a large table where we enjoyed a fire one evening. In the town we had a lovely time down by the river and at the children's play area and a fantastic time at the castle. I only wish our stay had been longer. I would love to come again and will definitely be recommending to friends,

A very well equipped bungalow. Perhaps not a great deal of communal space for 5 adults and certainly not once our other daughter came to join us making 6 adults! We received very good service. Ludlow itself is fab and definitely worth visiting. The bungalow was in a good location only the drive up to it is pitch black at night. So you definitely need the torch provided.a very well presented property in beautiful area of the country. The thing I liked least was the double bed as it gave my husband a bad back!

This house was within 5 minutes walk of the town centre and was in very good order and a sensible use of space. A wood burner was most welcome in some cold weather in January.

This is a lovely bungalow with parking 10 mins walk from the town centre. The accommodation was very good and the fact that there was parking made the weekend. The wood burner in the lounge was a romantic touch ( and there was plenty of logs to burn too). We were extremely comfortable and cosy.
