Great location with outstanding views, inside the barn was very spacious with plenty of seating for all our family. The kitchens (2) had everything you needed, the owner had supplied adequate resources. The bedrooms are spacious, clean with comfortable beds. There is a large hot tub in the rear garden, great to relax and star gaze in the evening. We was invited to visit the owners working farm where we witnessed lambs and calf’s being born, and even given a lamb to hold nothing was too much trouble. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely long weekend with a group of friends and 2 dogs, 10 of us, so we rented both barns. Beautifully decorated with cosy woodburning stove for Februarury evenings, great place to sit and chat with friends, plenty of room round the table, and on the sofas. Well equipped kitchens with everything we needed, and comfortable beds for a great nights sleep. Loved the hot tub after a good walk up Ingleborough, and enjoyed the view of Ingleborough from the house! Will definitely be back to this place to explore more of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales from this perfect base. Helpful and friendly owners made it all very welcoming, would definitely recommend a visit.

Ingleborough Barn is in a wonderful location and is a superb barn conversion.. The owners who live in the farm down the lane were very welcoming and helpful. We had a super time in the barn and exploring in the surrounding area, despite 'storm Ciara'. Highly recommended.

January 2020
Our party of 10 adults and 4 children and 1 collie dog stayed in this lovely barn conversion over Christmas 2019. We all thoroughly enjoyed it. It was comfortable, clean, cosy and warm in a modern country farmhouse style. The owners had even decorated the property with a large Christmas tree and other stylish decorations giving it a festive feel. They also left some very much appreciated chocolates, biscuits, crackers and fizz to add to the celebrations! Any worries about cooking Christmas Dinner for 14 in an unfamiliar kitchen were unfounded. We had everything we needed to cook a huge 4 course meal. Contrary to some other visitors comments we didn't experience any problems with showers or hot water. We spent most of our time relaxing in the lounges, playing games, watching TV and using the hot-tub, so didn't really explore the countryside or amenities around., although two of the party did climb Pen-y-ghent on Christmas Eve. Everyone else made do with the beautiful views of the surrounding countryside .There was a good selection of shops in the nearby village of High Bentham, a few of which came in handy for last minute shopping, and sadly we didn't have time to try out any local pubs:( It was ideal for our dog too as the garden area was walled in. Like many of the other clients we visited the farm itself with the children. Andrew was so friendly and happy to show us all the animals and watch the cows being milked, and gave the kiddies a chance to sit on the beautifully restored old tractor called Connie! A highlight for the young ones. We all agreed it would be a lovely place to come back to in late spring or summer, when the countryside around would be at its best, and we could explore the area more. If you're thinking of booking, go ahead, you won't be disappointed.

We stayed for the weekend for my partners 40th birthday. The pictures on the site don’t really do the barn justice. Everyone had a fab time and loved the look, space etc the barn offered. We have a daughter that uses a wheelchair to get around the barn had downstairs bedrooms and bathrooms which made the weekend easier, she loved the hot tub Lovely weekend had by all

We stayed for my mum's 70th birthday.. There was lots of room for 13 of us. Great set up with the 2 sitting rooms. Lots of outside space. The owner was an excellent host and very helpful. I would highly recommend Ingleborough Barn!

June 2019
The location and views were wonderful and overall the family enjoyed the weekend break.. The layout suited us well apart from the 2 heavy doors between the 2 living areas. These doors really needed to be able to be left open if the barns are let as 1 unit. We were very pleased that the owner brought us wood for the burners and charcoal for the BBQ. The hot tub temperature was ideal and very clean. However, we felt the bathrooms/plumbing were unsatisfactory as there was no hot water in 3 of the showers and low pressure in the other. Only 1 towel rail was working. It took us a while to get the oven and dishwasher working when we arrived as the circuit breaker had tripped, but we did appreciate the dishwasher tablets and tea towels being provided. Overall just met expectations but would say it was overpriced for 3 nights.

Just returned from Ingleborough Barn which we booked for my 30th birthday! We stayed for 5nights and the age range of our party was from 8 weeks old - late 30s! There were 9 adults, 4 children, 1 infant and a newborn! The barn is fabulous, lots of space, the views are breathtaking and it is kitted out with everything you need. To be honest the pictures really do not do it justice! But the icing on the cake is the owners! Andrew was just amazing - he gave the children memories they will treasure forever! They saw lambs being born, fed 1 day old lambs and calves! He was just so friendly, welcoming and really couldn't do enough even when he is so busy working! We will definitely be back!

Great accommodation, ideal for a large family group.. Generally worked well, but a bit awkward when we all wanted to sit together, either at the table or in the lounge. Beds very comfortable. Lovely location with great views.

The Barn was a fantatsic choice for us all as a family.. 12 of us stayed and it didnt feel like we were cramped cause the place is very spacious. Kitchen and dinning was great.. kids loved the outside space and we saw a coouple of lambs born at a distance too. Kids went down the the farm for a little tour... Janet and her husband were very accomodating. The hot tub was a hit with everyone too.

Had a lovely time at the cottage.. So much space for our party of 12. Cottage was clean and tidy. We were pleasently surprised at all the little extras like hand wash, washing up liquid, kitchen foil etc tea towels and bath towels..! Hot tub was perfect, the outdoors was stunning. The photos do not do justice to this cottage is soo much bigger than it seems!! Had a fabulous time...book it now for large party, I have already recommended it at work!!

January 2019
There were 12 adults staying at the Barn for a 50th celebration and it was a perfect size accommodation.. The barn was more than big enough for us all, plenty of space and room. There was more than enough crockery, utensils etc and enough room at the dining table to comfortably fit 12 adults. Quality of fittings and furniture was apparent throughout as well as the beautiful way the barn had been restored with its lovely brickwork and stunning wooden beams. The hot tub was fantastic, clean and really toasty, we all enjoyed relaxing in it until 2am (Jan 14th, temp was 1 degree) and was still warm enough. The Barn overall was well worth the money and we will without doubt like to return again. I would not hesitate in recommending this Barn to anyone. Can I say a special thanks to the owners of the barn, Andrew and Janet who could not have been nicer and so helpful with any additional requests we had. They made our weekend very special. 10/10 guys.

We were initially deceived when booking this as it says for 14 people but this is 12 adults and 2 children if you read closer (luckily one couple could not come).. When we arrived, this barn exceeded all expectations, it was cosy, clean, wonderfully large, amazing views. Very homely, but a luxury at the same time! We had a slight issue with the heating on the first day, and we messaged the owner who fixed it straight away! We would recommend this barn to anyone! We would also come back tomorrow! It’s amazing!

The views are superb and the layout of the two Barns worked very well for us.. The owners and their family were very friendly and welcoming. This extended to a fascinating visit to the milking parlour where we greatly enjoyed seeing the calves and watching the cows being milked. The hot tub was great fun. It was a very quiet location which suited our family group ideally.

We had a wonderfully relaxing time at Ingleborough Barn.. We were a family party of 12 with two dogs. The barn is very spacious and comfortable with beautiful views towards the 3 Peaks and the hot tub is a real treat. Our group of twelve plus two dogs loved Ingleborough Barn.. Spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Great to have two lounges when World Cup, Tour de France and Wimbledon on at same time! Stunning views from the barn especially from the hot tub. Very helpful owners gave advice about online shopping delivery. We would have loved more fridge space for the beers and sparkling wine! Terrific venue for a reunion - loads to do for all interests: erratic boulder walks, Wensleydale cheese factory visit, antique shop browsing in Kirkby Lonsdale.

Marvellous views of Ingleborough.. Immaculately clean and attractively furnished converted barn. Lovely friendly owners on the nearby farm who were only too happy to answer any queries and also showed our four year old grandson around the farm milking parlour. Everyone had fun in the Hot tub! N.B. Take fly trapp papers to put up in the kitchen.....You are near a farm!!

May 2018
A wonderful stay at Ingleborough Barn.. Fantastic house - basically two sets of accommodation with a door between them. This was helpful for us as my sisters dogs were easily containable in one side when needed. A big space with lots of light. Loads of bathrooms. Fantastic garden and hot tub. Farmer and his family were friendly and available but didn’t crowd or suddenly appear - the barn is on its own so great for privacy and the farm is just down the road. Farmer welcomed the kids to come and look around the farm and he talked to them about it. Had several great days out in the Dales, Lakes and Forest of Bowland, all beautiful areas to visit. The three peaks are visible from the garden and you can watch the sun set each evening from the hot tub. We loved it and hope to stay there again. Would highly recommend. Thanks.

Amazing and beautiful property. Set out if bedrooms was really good as each one has its own bathroom right next to it. Spacious well maintened and clean . Gorgeous views around about. Hot tub was fantastic and only a 2 second dash in the snow. Plenty of room so no one got on top of each other. The only problem that needs rectified is lack of kitchen equipment between the 2 kitchens and lack of fridge space. Not enough pots, pans, baking sheets and simple utensils such as wooden spoons for 2 kitchens and for 14 people. Also 2 small fridges are not enough for the size of the house especially as their is room for a large fridge too. Beautiful area, well kept clean accommodation and would return

This is an excellent venue.. It was ideal for our family with plenty of space for the children ranging in age from 12 down to 5 to have space to do their own thing. We all loved it and the location and would like to return when we're able to do so.

September 2017
My mum booked this place for her 70th birthday celebrations with all the family. The conversion has been very sympathetically carried out and the barn was a lovely place to stay. Beds were comfortable, there was plenty of living space (and comfy sofas!) and the hot tub was a fun addition! A problem with the drains was very quickly sorted by the owner. Heating is controlled by several thermostats, so be sure to adjust the upstairs ones before you go to bed or you'll roast!! The only thing I'd improve on would be fridge space - two small fridges for such a large number of people wasn't really enough. An extra fridge in the spacious porch would solve the issue. All in all though we really liked this place and we'd go back.

The cottage was brilliant, size, layout and comfortable.. We went for my birthday a girls weekend away, it met all of our expectations and was beautifully looked after by the owners. Owners were brilliant and couldn't do enough to help make your stay very comfortable and enjoyable. We would definitely book here again!! Amazing place, quiet location but lovely place to go walking too. Added bonus is the hot tub... Only thing I would mention from a safety aspect is that there are no lights around the hot tub and it is in the evening quite dark, so would recommend lighting in this area.

Could not recommend this highly enough. We stayed for a week May/June 2016, it is beautifully decorated and clean, so much space for our extended family, the enclosed garden gave peace of mind for the kids, but we didn't need to worry as lane so quiet down to the farm, the kids could have been out all day with no worries. Beautiful views and so quiet, we loved it. The Owners are so accommodating and great, and we saw the milking of the cows and sheep shearing, it made the kids holiday! Hot tub for the Adults :). Also excellent wi-fi to satisfy the kids, to ensure lie in for adults!! Our dog came for the last two days and loved the garden and walks locally, Thank you x We visited Skipton, Ingleton Falls and White Scar caves all within easy reach, the scenery is unbelievable!
