For more extensive shopping and entertainment options, visit Swansea town (2 miles) or its local attractions, including the Dylan Thomas Centre, Plantasia and the National Waterfront Museum. Heading immediately west, you can explore the stunning secluded beaches, gorgeous bays and quaint villages of the Gower Peninsula. Visit the iconic pier, castle and lighthouse, sample the famous local ice cream or tackle the Mumbles Mile , a real ale trail filled with traditional waterfront pubs. Nearby lie the well known beaches of Caswell (6 miles), Langland Bay (6 miles) and Oxwich Bay (11 miles).
