In the village of Winskill in the Eden Valley situated between the North Pennines and Lake District, an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The village boasts a fantastic play park across from the property which younger visitors will love, also a heated outdoor swimming pool (open from May to September). Visit Lacy s Caves (6 miles) or enjoy a lovely walk following a loop to Long Meg and her daughters a huge Neolithic stone circle and along the River Eden. The Rheged Centre, sits in England s largest grass covered building (9 miles), enjoy exhibitions, a movie, or take part in one of the creative classes on offer. From the neighbouring village of Melmerby (3 miles), take to two wheels and tackle the Hartside Pass and visit Alston England s highest market town, with cobbled streets and quaint buildings. Enjoy a train ride on the famous Settle to Carlisle railway line, Langwathby station is less than 2 miles away. As you walk into the property you will find yourself in the bright hallway with the lounge on the left with its Smart TV and space to play board games.
