This handsome building in Broadwell was once a barn, but has since been transformed into a cosy countryside retreat. You'll find original details everywhere you look, from the honey-coloured Cotswold stone to the traditional wooden beams. The double-height windows bring plenty of natural light into the living area and mezzanine floor, while the kitchen is perfectly set up for cooking your favourite family meals on the Aga. There's even a cute little office room if you need to catch up on some work during your stay. Outside, there's a barbecue and seating area that make the ideal spot for alfresco feasts, along with a gorgeous grassy lawn and even your very own orchard to explore. The local inn is less than a five-minute walk away, and is a wonderful place to get toasty after hiking or cycling through the glorious Cotswold countryside, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Make sure you take a trip to picture-perfect Stow-on-the-Wold too – it's just a mile away from Broadwell – and wander through the charming streets packed with tea rooms and boutiques.
