The area is perfect for those seeking a relaxed pace of life, typical of the Highlands with friendly and helpful people, unspoilt scenery filled with an abundance of wildlife, birds, butterflies and fauna particularly. Visitors can meander along the paths leading up to the open moor and dropping down to the river valley or take a leisurely stroll along the gorgeous shoreline. The village itself offers a shop, pub and a petrol station.
