Property Description

Situated in one of the Cotswolds most famous towns, Stow-on-the-Wold, this home is an excellent pick for groups eager to explore. It's right at the end of an 18th-century terrace, and still retains much of its original character and charm. Along with the main house you will have access to an annexe at the bottom of the garden, which gives up to four guests some extra privacy. In the main living room, you'll find exposed stone walls and rustic wooden beams along with a wood-burning stove where you can get cosy. The conservatory offers an alternative place to relax, while the annexe has its own sitting room and a small kitchenette. On sunny evenings you might like to head out to the garden and fire up the barbecue for an alfresco meal, but if you prefer someone else takes over cooking duties then there are several options. Stow-on-the-Wold has plenty of cafés and pubs where you can refuel before getting out to explore the Cotstwolds. There are lots of hiking and biking trails to choose from that will guide you through the glorious English countryside – or, for a slower pace, simply take a stroll and admire the town's picture-perfect cottages.

Home truths:
*Two infants can be added to the guest count – a stair gate and high chairs can be provided
*Mobile phone reception can be variable.
*You'll have to clean the barbecue if you use it
*There are low beams and steep stairs
*Hen, stag and same-sex groups must enquire before booking
*There is a double garage with space for two cars and additional parking on the road
*A starter supply of wood is provided for the wood burner
*A full BT package is available on the TV
*The super king beds can be set up as twins on request
*The bedroom blinds don't fully block out the sunlight
*Stow Horse Fair is held in May and October (please check specific dates) – it will be very busy and some local amenities will close
