The accommodation was very well appointed but not very clean.. The oven was greasy and some utencils needed washing before use. The general maintenance was good but problem with window made a very uncomfortable few nights. You did help with that as soon as you were informed. With a maintenence man the same day and extra blankets. Thank you. The afternoon tea was a nice touch. It would have been nice to have a visitors book to compliment the owners for having such a well appointed flat. All in all a good stay would love to return. Great views and an energetic walk from town. Would not be suitable for someone with limited mobility. Parking place a real asset.

Stayed at this apartment before and found everything very homely.. Two negatives welcome pack was missing the wine, plus the time you can gain entry to the property seems to getting later and later.☹️

We had a really lovely week and amazing weather too.. If we decide to stay in Falmouth again we would definitely like to stay at Hawkins Haven.

My husband, elder daughter and myself had a great week in Falmouth.. Our first visit to that part of Cornwall and it definitely exceeded our expectations. The apartment was all we could have wished for and gave us space and privacy. The views from the windows were fantastic - watching the boats in the harbour and the arrival and departure of two cruise ships! At our age (81 and 78) the climb up to the property from the town was a bit steep but we managed it! You are welcome to publish our feedback but without our full names! Maybe just initials?

Hawkins Haven is a beautiful apartment with superb views.. Quite a steep climb from the town but adequate parking available at the property. Not suitable for elderly/disabled. Having entered the property via 5-6 steps at the front, there are two flights of steps down into the apartment. Both bathrooms have showers over the bath. No standalone shower or wet room facilities. No single beds in either bedroom. Both doubles.

A nice clean and pleasant appartment the only problem was the heat in the south facing bedroom which appeared to get over heated due to being next to the hot water boiler.. A small irritation was no wine on arrival as per the listing in the information folder, and the scones to welcome us were out of date the day before our arrival, not a good sign particularly for one of our party who was pregnant!

Spacious very clean unit in complex with all our needs met.. Beautiful view from dining area but you need to reasonably fit to walk down to the town and back up again.Only possible improvement would be harder mattress in second bedroom but that is a personal preference.Plenty of brochures/leaflets left in unit to enable guests to know what is going on in the area.

Ideal location for exploring Falmouth and the surrounding coastal area.. The apartment was comfortable and spacious and had all the facilities we needed. Lovely sea views from the balcony where we enjoyed leisurely breakfasts in the morning sunshine.

Stayed here for a week in very hot weather.. Many of the windows were purposefully unable to be opened which made it difficult to get any ventilation, particularly in the bedrooms and made nighttimes hot and unpleasant. Although this is a ground floor flat there are significantly more than the seven steps specified in order to get there from the car park, the main flight having 12 steps. As previous reviewers have said, it is a very steep walk down into Falmouth and extremely challenging on uphill return so only suitable for the super fit. This is a quiet, unattractive block of modern flats. The rear balcony has fabulous views. However, the small bistro table is not big enough for more than putting drinks on, so we were unable to use it for alfresco meals and had to eat inside which was a shame. The interior was very comfortably furnished.

What a beautiful apartment! Everything we expected and so much more. Huge, spacious rooms and the views from the balcony were amazing. So much closer to the town than we thought and the hills gave us a lovely leg workout! We will be back...

Convenient location, a few minutes walk from the town centre, although the steep climb back asked a lot of us 75+ yr.. olds. The great views shown in the photos were fully justified, and the apartment was tastefully furnished, with every need provided for. Good parking. Would thoroughly recommend this if you're reasonably fit.

Hawkins Haven is ideally placed for the east end of the town near to the Prince of Wales Pier.. The walk into the town is via a steep road and path which for people less able on their feet would be quite a challenge. For us it was not a problem. It takes around twenty minutes to reach the pier. (Probably a little longer to climb back up). The surrounding roads are residential so it is recommended that the directions to the apartment by car, from the main road, provided by the agent, are followed as they are the most direct. The décor is very modern and fresh with a nautical theme. The kitchen is very well designed and has extensive utensils and cooking aids. However not found were scales, a tin opener and a vegetable peeler. The views of the port out of the double aspect windows were better than expected. The apartment is one of a number of apartments in a modern block. It is set in a very quite area of the town and the use of an allocated parking space is priceless. We would certainly be keen to use Hawkins Haven again if we were to revisit Falmouth in the future.

Really really loved the apartment.. SO clean and lovely decor. Gorgeous views. Not very prepossessing from the outside but gorgeous inside. Walk to town very easy but hard work coming back due to steep hills - that's Cornwall though
