Ilfracombe is a lively coastal town on a lovely stretch of North Devon coastline with five beaches, the most of which is held by the National Trust. Exmoor National Park, with its undulating scenery and picturesque settlements, is only a ten-minute drive from Ilfracombe. The ancient harbour and quay in Ilfracombe are stunning, with numerous bars, shops, and restaurants, as well as frequent live music, creating a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere. Take a wildlife cruise, fishing trip, or boat tour from here to picturesque Lundy Island, a natural wonderland that will give you with a unique experience. Ilfracombe is the starting point for several of England's best walking trails.
