One of the Vicinity’s lovely walks is the Wealdway, which meanders around a mile to Chiddingly, a classic English village with church, pub (The Six Bells), cricket field and street of delightful cottages. Horam Manor is about one mile to the north and offers fishing, nature trails, riding lessons, and pottery painting, while for keen golfers there are courses at Horam Park (one mile) and Wellshurst (three miles).

Unfenced pond is approx 1' deep, please supervise small children. The height of doorways and ceilings may not be suitable for very tall people. The entrance to the car parking space is tight. When approaching from the south it is advised to either drive slightly north of the entrance to reverse in, or to turn the car at the entrance to Swan Wood Lodge/House for a smooth nose-in approach. The lane is quiet in the evenings and for much of the day, but traffic can be fairly busy at peak times. A Good Housekeeping bond of £200 is required for this property.
