Holiday home
Granary Cottage is a lovely ground floor annex to the owners' home, situated in the village of Scurlage, close to Swansea in South Wales. The cottage can sleep two people in one double bedroom with en-suite shower, together with a family bathroom with roll-top bath. Also in the cottage is a kitchen and a sitting room with dining area. Outside is off road parking for one car and a stone paved seating area. Granary Cottage is a perfect place to stay for a romantic break, with plenty to see and do in the area.

All ground floor. One double bedroom with en-suite basin and WC. Bathroom with roll-top bath, separate shower, basin and WC. Kitchen. Sitting room with dining area.

Area
Scurlage is a small village, named after the family who built a fortified manor house, although none of the remains of ‘Scurlage Castle’ have survived. This little village is between the popular beachside villages of Rhossili and Port Eynon and is close to the fantastic beaches of the Gower Peninsula including Oxwich Bay.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Off road parking for 1 car. Secure bike storage. Stone paved seating area. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 10 mins walk. Note: Parking is to the front, with access up a farm lane to the property entrance at the rear. Please note: bookings must start or end on a weekday as changeovers cannot be done on a Saturday or Sunday. Note: Fish and Chip shop in village is open Friday and Saturday in summer season only

The accommodation was very well appointed, had everything you could ever need and the owners only next door for peace of mind.. A welcome tray of cakes and bread, tea, milk etc is a lovely touch following a journey. The Gower is a beautiful place, shame our weather wasn't ideal, but we'll be back.

The accommodation was excellent.. However, visitors need to be aware that in order to reach the village of Scurlage and the Gower coastline beyond on foot it is necessary to walk for 5-10 minutes along a busy A road with no pavement. The one shop in the village is expensive, even charging £1-85 to make withdrawals from the cash machine, therefore visitors should come well stocked with food to last the week. Otherwise, the nearest decent food shops would appear to be 10 miles away in Swansea.

The Granary is a lovely clean and very well equipped cottage.. The location is great for exploring the Gower Peninsula. The WiFi is a bit hit and miss but this didn’t spoil our holiday. I would definitely recommend this beautiful cottage.

Very comfortable, clean and well equipped cottage.. Lovely part of the Gower, away from Swansea, but only two miles from Port Eynon and Rhossili. Local shops for all food items within one mile. Very pleasant holiday. Landlady also made us feel very welcome.

The Granary is very pretty and well positioned being just off the main road.. The property was very clean and decorated in a simple style. A welcome pack was provided which included a large selection of delicious homemade cakes. I would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a quiet location to relax.

Very comfortable cottage in a great location.. A warm welcome from the on site owners including a huge tray of homemade cakes, just for the two of us! We would be happy to return! Plenty of off road parking and a private garden to sit in.

Within reach of amazing coastal walks, lovely quiet cottage.. Very well appointed bathroom and en suite, comfortable bed. Approach could be a little muddy and the kitchen could have a few more aids to home cooking.
