Kate and Johnathon were exceptionally accommodating, the property was faultlessly presented and we (including the dog) were made to feel most welcome. Would recommend without hesitation.

We spent two evenings here and have returned home all relaxed and chilled especially after being in lockdown since March. Johnathan and Kate the owners are lovely and very knowledgeable about the area and the little additional extras were a lovely surprise. But they are not ‘in your face’. We have stayed places were the owners were a nightmare but this does not apply to the owners here. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay from the moment we arrived and would definitely recommend. A beautiful cottage with all the mid cons.

This was a beautiful cottage, well presented, with some lovely touches.. Arrived to find a basket of essentials, bowl of fruit and pretty flowers. The field next to the cottage is perfect for the dogs. Kate was extremely welcoming and gave us lots of information about the local area. The village is an easy 10 min walk with a lovely welcoming pub. I would highly recommend this accommodation and would not hesitate to return.

A wonderful quiet peaceful place.. The Granary was clean, warm and very comfortable with no expense spared with regards to facilities with everything there you would need. This is my second visit to this property in a six month period - which says it all! The apartment is exceptional- extremely clean and very comfortable and relaxing. The bed has to be the best I have slept in. The hosts, Kate and Johnathan are so very welcoming and go that extra mile to make you feel comfortable. Beautiful flowers, a fruit bowl, and a goodies basket only add to the pampered atmosphere. Even my dog received some treats! Having decided that this has to be my regular bolt hole I will most definitely be back.

The Granary was perfect the owners Kate and Jonathon are wonderful.. The cottage was exceptionally clean, the welcome basket of goodies upon arrival was a very unexpected surprise and was a real lovely touch. The dogs loved it and were able to roam around the secure area by the cottage. I took my mum away to celebrate her birthday and to visit family who she hadn't seen for years with the excellent accommodation and location she has declared it her best birthday ever. I would highly recommend the Ganary as it would be impossible to have a bad holiday there. Thank you Kate & Jonathon we will definitely be returning.

The Granary was a lovely place to enjoy a relaxing and peaceful holiday in beautiful surroundings.. Everything you could possibly want was there including the most warm welcome and hospitality from the owners Kate and Jonathan who very kindly provided us with a generous basket of goodies upon our arrival and even a treat for Belle the dog! I would not hesitate in recommending The Granary to anyone wanting to visit the area. We will be returning at the next opportunity. Definitely not one to be missed. Julie and Belle

Very kind and friendly hosts in Kate and Jonathan, excellent accommodation ideally located to visit the beautiful border towns of Wales and England and for the dogs a fantastic safe penned off countryside area for them to play and roam freely.. Would highly recommend the Granary especially for dog owners and would love to come back for more.

Wow, what can I say about The Granaries? It was amazing. We arrived and were met by Kate, who welcomed us and our dog, showed us around, including a welcome basket of tea, coffee, milk, fresh ciabatta loaf, brie, cheese and sparkling water. A lovely surprise and enabled us to settle straight in without having to run to the shops. Kate and Jonathan were a joy , they checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed, had information and advice on where to go and what to see. They also have us some home grown produce, which was in season, and baked us a cake! They could not have made us feel more welcome. The conversion has been done beautifully and to a high standard, and was comfortable and clean. Locally, it's a quick walk into the village, which had a corner shop and a couple of pubs. The Red Lion was really friendly and we had a good dinner there one night. Basic pub grub, but done well. Overall, had a really relaxing break and would happily recommend and visit agsin. Thanks

Absolutely Perfect.. The cottage is beautiful and exceeded all expectations. The hosts, Kate and Johnathon are wonderful people and go out of their way to make sure your stay is a happy and relaxing one. When I arrived at the cottage there was not only a welcome basket containing bread and a delicious Bara-Brith loaf but in addition the luxury of some Ferrer Rocher chocolates. On the coffee table were some beautiful roses together with a fruit basket, and some much-appreciated milk and brie cheese in the fridge. I felt truly pampered. My only problem was that I didn't want to leave at the end of my stay. Thank you Kate and Johnathon. I will most definately be back.

Fantastic stay at Granary 1.. Would definitely recommend. The hosts Kate and Jonathan were very welcoming. We had waiting a basket of goodies, fresh flowers, fruit and Kate brought over some freshly made Bara-Brith (absolutely delicious!). One of the days we even got to try some Greengages from the garden and Jonathan even gave us some home grown vegetables which I made a lovely meal with. We went on some day trips to Hereford and Hay-on-Wye using the cottage as a base. There are a number of places to visit within a 30min drive and we found some great places to have lunch and walk. The cottage is a perfect location and very quiet but accessible. Just what we wanted for our stay. Its very modern and clean with a lot of outside space. The town is a short walk away, where there is a local shop, fish and chip shop and pub. We had our one year old with us and he had a lot of fun playing outside and seeing the sheep and the chickens. The cottage is child friendly and a cot was set up when we arrived. I wish we could have stayed a few more days! The cottage has everything you need for a relaxing break. The hosts were really kind and thoughtful and made the break even nicer for us. We will definitely go back to stay.

This cottage was fantastic in every single way! The owners, Kate and Jonathan, had thoughtfully provided everything that was needed in the cottage including a most generous welcome pack of Artisan seeded bread, Brie, home made Bara Brith, milk, tea, fruit bowl, gorgeous roses and treats for the dogs. We felt immediately spoilt and this was a fabulous start to our holiday. The cottage is comfortable with every modern convenience. The garden is lovely with plenty of space for the dogs to explore and a large patio area. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom, along with the rest of the cottage was immaculate. We had a great holiday and would love to return to this wonderful cottage in the future. Julie & Patrick Deignan

We loved this cottage and will definitely go there again.. The welcome we received was first class from the really friendly owners and the welcome hamper with all the essentials and treats for our dog was a lovely touch as was the bowl of eggs from the owners hens. We slept like logs and in fact I am going to contact the owner to find out what the mattress is as it was so comfortable. Fabulous location too - very tranquil with lots of varied walks from the doorstep if you don't want to get in the car while only a 15 minute drive to Hereford (traffic depending of course). We felt very comfortable and settled in the cottage and it felt like a home from home. Wonderful*****

I have to give our whole holiday 5 stars but would rather keep quiet as this little gem will book up fast and I will have problems booking in the future.. I have already booked for July. If you like peace and quiet this is for you, If you like walking this is for you, If you like history this is for you as it is within easy reach of Hereford,Ross on Wye and Hay on Wye. The first impressions when we walked through the door was how lovely, there were fresh cut scented flowers and a basket of goodies including homemade jam and camembert. The furnishings are quality and the bed is very comfortable. Two days into our holiday our lovely hostess cooked us a delicious homemade
