Glenhaven is a detached bungalow in the village of Sweffling near Snape. The cottage has a double and a twin room, a bathroom, kitchen, dining room with electric fire and a sitting room. Outside is ample off road parking, and an unfenced lawned garden with patio and furniture. From Glenhaven, the whole of the Suffolk coast is waiting to be explored, from marshland footpaths to sandy beaches, sleepy villages and plenty of shops, eateries and galleries.

All ground floor. Two bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x twin. Bathroom with bath, shower over and basin. Separate basin and WC. Kitchen. Dining room with electric fire. Sitting room.

Area
Snape is a riverside village on Suffolk's Heritage Coast. The village has a shop and three pubs, and is home to Snape Maltings, with a diverse selection of quirky art, crafts and gifts as well as a concert hall. From Snape, explore the coastline with many beaches and pretty villages, woodland and heathland paths to enjoy.

Region
Picturesque rolling Fens, unspoilt beaches, and pretty waterways - East Anglia is a dream holiday destination. Norfolk offers beaches, saltmarshes and quaint villages whilst equally as charming are the coast and countryside of Suffolk.

We had a lovely relaxing week away in this lovely bungalow.. We were greeted on arrival by the lovely owner who lives next door. Bungalow bright and spacious and well equipped with everything you need. Scones, jam & cream were a welcome surprise! Nicely nestled in the countryside but near enough to visit lots of places. Highly recommend!

Great location, quiet, peaceful and surrounded by some lovely countryside.. The cottage was a brilliant base for exploring the Suffolk villages and allowed easy access to the coast. All round excellent accommodation and helpful host.

The cottage could not have been better.. Extremely well equipped, great people and it provided the tranquility I had been researching for months. I had to start a diet after the lovely scones & clotted cream which took me back a few years. DOH!!!!!! When I booked I saw the comments regarding the scones and clotted cream and was adamant I wouldn't mention them but I admit I couldn't resist saying something about them :) Many thanks Sandi & Julian, I will be booking again. Glenhaven was spotlessly clean, comfortable and very well equipped.. The bungalow is in a lovely peaceful setting and there are nice views over the surrounding countryside. We spent a very pleasant week there despite the weather which was cold and windy a lot of the time, but as we were visiting family some of the time this was not too important and we could look forward to returning to a cosy, warm holiday home at the end of the day. We would certainly return to Glenhaven and hope to do so very soon.

We arrived late and the owner had put the outside lights on for us which was a great help to locate it on a dark lane.. Excellent set of area information. great location central for many places to visit. So peaceful it was a real tonic.

Lovely welcome, large rooms, well situated cottage.. Not far from Aldeburgh and not far from facilities in Saxmundham. Very large kitchen. Cottage very clean and well equipped, though a dishwasher would have been a welcome addition. Would definitely return to this comfortable location where there is plenty to see and do nearby.

Lovely accommodation in a beautiful setting.. Only one small downside for us was the toilet not being in the bathroom. Had to walk right through the kitchen, dining room and hallway. A little difficult when you need to visit the toilet frequently in the night (not a problem for younger people).

This was a lovely home from home bungalow which had everything that you would need.. A warm welcome from the owner and a nice touch with jam & cream scones.All in all it was a nice place to return to at the end of the day.

The hosts were excellent - attentive and quick to solve two small problems which arose, but not intrusive.. The holiday was just what my wife and I wanted, quiet and relaxing, but near to the amenities we wished to visit, and with the added bonus of plenty of bird life for my wife, who is a keen bird watcher! Heartily recommended!

This bungalow is deep in the heart of Suffolk.. It is very well presented, warm and welcoming. The owner was there to meet us and showed us round, leaving scones and cream for tea! It was a chilly few days but the heating came on and we were very comfortable. Everything worked. We like bird watching, and there are feeders outside in the huge garden and a resident green woodpecker!

It was like home from home, the garden was amazing need to go when there are lighter evenings, so many books and games , lovely goodies scones cream and jam and home grown tomatoes made you fill special, the owners made you very welcome..
