Very comfortable.. Toilet is downstairs and that isn’t stated in the listing. Wasn’t a problem but would have been good to know.

Lovely cottage in wonderful location.. Recent stylish renovation but still with a good 'cottage feel', well equipped and comfortable, with good quality bedding, towels etc. Easy parking either outside the cottage or in the pub car park. Good wifi. Owners are very friendly and helpful, and run the Gait Inn next door which is a great traditional country pub, excellent pub food, and good selection of local beers. There's also a splendid cafe in the village, The Ramblers Rest, which despite the name is very popular with cyclists ! Ideal location for exploring the Wolds with walks from the door and the views from the top of the ridge opposite are fantastic. Pocklington only 3 miles away for supplies ( Aldi, Sainsbury's, plus local shops ) and good selection of eating places. Great week - would love to return. Only addition to the details on the Sykes website would be that the shower room is downstairs - not an issue for us but might be for others.

Fran's cottage is a delightful cottage in Millington village away from the hustle of a big town.. The cottage is comfortable and well equipped with cutlery, crockery and cookware. However, if you don't feel like cooking the Gait Inn, 2 doors away, has delicious food. The proprietors are friendly and very welcoming and they also own the cottage. This is an excellent place to stay as there is a lot to see and do in the surrounding area. I would certainly recommend Fran's cottage to other travellers.
