We spent 5 nights at this wonderful cottage and wouldn’t think twice about recommending it to anybody.. We were greeted by the owner Anna, who was very helpful and welcoming. There was a lovely cake waiting for us and the dinner table had been laid which was so thoughtful, the log fire had also been lit in the lounge room. This cottage is by far the best place we have ever stayed in, it has been superbly furnished in keeping with the period of the cottage. Nothing looked out of place and we loved the extensive selection of books in various rooms. If you are looking for peace and tranquility you will find it here, we will definitely be returning.Nikki & Martin

We had the most wonderful holiday in this lovely cottage.. Anne and Neil lived in the cottage next door but we had complete privacy. Beautiful cottage and so well equipped we wanted for nothing. Anne met us with a warm welcome and tea and cake all set out. Also milk tea coffee logs firelighters etc etc. Perfect holiday.

The Cottage is in a very peaceful location.. It is just as you would expect a Cornish cottage to be, quirky stair case, beautiful fireplaces and flag stone floors. The owners are very friendly and helpful, once they show you the property they leave you alone to enjoy your holiday. The cottage is clean and tidy, it has all the facilities you will need for a self catering stay. The WiFi was very useful, we used it to check weather and book online tickets to tourist places. The garden if great for warm evening BBQ or a glass of wine/beer or cider, the running brook at the bottom of the garden (fenced off for safety) provides a relaxing sound. There is adequate parking just outside the front door. I was dying to start up the log burners but the end of July was too warm (even for the cool wet summer of 2017). We found this cottage to be a very good base for the resorts on Cornwall's south east coast, Looe was a super find, with enough attractions for a young family, the beach was clean and sea safe to swim in, also rock pools galore to explore. Eden Project less than 30 minutes. It is also not too far from Cornwall's north coast, we loved Padstow's sea life safari and Tintagel Castle both 50 minutes away. The large lounge would benefit from a larger screen TV and fabric sofas (Personally I am not keen on leather sofas) Be warned that the roads leading to the cottage are very narrow and you need to remember where the passing points are when you meet on coming traffic, thankfully that is not too often. Not sure if a groceries delivery van can make it to the cottage?

The cottage was wonderful.. In a perfect, tranquil place to be. We had a lovely garden for the dog and to relax in ourselves. We spent some lovely sunny hours in there. Behind the cottage is a stream and a great walk through the field and into the woods. The welcome in the cottage was very warm. There was tea and cake waiting for us and the landlady gave us a tour through the cottage to explain everything. The cottage is very well equipped and very clean. In the evening we had a fire in one of the woodburners. This gave a cosy warmth. There's lots to do in Cornwall. We weren't able to do everything we'd have liked to do, so we will certainly be back in this cottage some time!

Foxgloves is very peaceful, good walks in woods with the dog, thought heating wouldn't be adequate but with both log burners lit was very warm. Pleasant owners in a lovely countryside, with decent pubs around.

It was home from home. A very tranquil and beautiful cottage with lovely owners who gave us a perfect welcome. The owners have thought of everything and it was very well equipped and very clean. There were beautiful walks in the woods directly behind the cottage which made it perfect with our dog. I would have no hesitation in recommending the cottage.

The area around Foxgloves is lovely, peaceful and quiet. The owners were very unobtrusive even though they live next door. It was a very cosy cottage, would love to see the garden in all it's glory in the spring/summer.

Liked the comfort of the house, the helpfulness of the owners and the welcoming gift at the start of the holiday. Lovely lanes leading to the cottage, the serenity offered by the cottage and although close to the owners house, the complete privacy that there was. AWESOME.

The cottage was a good size with two super log burners. Extra heaters were supplied in all the rooms so we were very warm and comfortable. The location was lovely and very quiet with a pretty garden and lovely stream running past. It was a convenient location for various walks and travelling in all directions to different attractions. The outside tap was very useful for washing off wellies and the dog after muddy walks.
