This was a very well equipped and comfortable place to stay with an excellent bed and shower.. The owners, Karen & Niall were helpful and friendly but unobtrusive. There is a lovely garden with borders and woodland plants and it is in an ideal location for exploring the area. We would thoroughly recommend Flintstones

This was a delightful Cottage with excellent and very friendly Hosts .... This was a delightful Cottage with excellent and very friendly Hosts the cottage was central for exploring the area but still in a rural village the cottage was just what we wanted very, clean, comfortable with soft bed ( which is important to us), parking was inside the garden of the Hosts house which was brillient in all a lovely week away with lovely weather, we shall definately return as so much we did not see and a joy to return back, after a day out exploring to such a comfortable cosy cottage Maureen and Colin Magee

The cottage was well equipped and everything was arranged to provide a good holiday experience.. We felt really at home and were sorry when the fortnight was over. The owners Karen and Neill did all they could to ensure that our holiday was a success, The property is located in a little village away from the hustle and bustle of modern life but only a few minutes from the main A303 trunk road. Many small market towns are within a short drive, as also are a fine selection of stately homes and gardens. We would confidently recommend this cottage as a base for a quality holiday.

We had a wonderful week staying at Flintstones, our hosts Karen and Niall were really friendly and helpful.. The cottage was immaculate, everything there that you,ll need, combined with a beautiful garden in peaceful countryside. Plenty of amazing places to visit in the surrounding area. Our favourites were Lime Regis, Beer and Forde Abbey as well as the numerous National Trust places. If you want to stay somewhere peaceful to chill and relax this is the place. I would recommend Flintstones in Buckland St Mary to all my friends and family.

The cottage was lovely and set in great country surroundings with good access to seaside resorts, rural towns and walks in the Blackdown Hills.. The cottage facilities were excellent, very comfortable and clean. The Owners live next door and were very welcoming and helpful. An excellent country retreat for a short break -- highly recommended.

The property was very much as described and a nice tranquil location with a great outlook into the garden.. Parking on site was however tight and the wifi/broadband intermittent to non existent both matters which the owners are addressing going forward. Karen and Niall were excellent hosts and although the property is attached to their own home we very much felt we had Flintstones to ourselves ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Owner response : There are currently no issues with our wifi, We have not received negative feedback in relation to this in the past.

Great to see truth in a holiday let.. The accommodation was very true to the advertising. The owners were most helpful and the whole experience was very relaxing and the food at both the Candlelight Inn and the local pub was excellent value for money. Amazing atmosphere at the Candlelight Inn with excellent hosts. Thanks to Karen and Niall.

Lovely cottage, great facilities, very modern and clean.. Central location meant reasonably close to major attractions, sea, hills, Nat Trust etc. Weather not too bad considering so early in the year
