Fixit Cottage is a welcoming, cheerful cottage converted from a barn in countryside a mile from the South Devon town of Kingsbridge. The cottage sleeps four people in two en suite bedrooms on the ground and first floor, which can be either double or twin. On the ground floor is a kitchen with dining area and on the first floor is a sitting room with wood burning stove and French windows to a balustrade. Outside is an enclosed garden, a shared indoor swimming pool and games room and use of three fishing lakes and a health and beauty centre at reduced rates. With all these facilities on the doorstep, Fixit Cottage is an excellent base for a relaxing break in Devon.

Two bedrooms: 1 x first floor super king double (can convert to twin) with en suite bathroom with bath, WC and basin and French windows to balustrade, 1 x ground floor super king double (can convert to twin) with en suite shower room with shower, WC and basin. Ground floor kitchen with dining area. First floor sitting room with wood burning stove and French windows to balustrade. Shared use of indoor swimming pool and games room.

The busy little town of Kingsbridge lies at the head of a marine estuary in the attractive South Hams area of south Devon.

Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

Fixit Cottage was above and beyond our expectations both in its location, comfort and cleanliness.. The level of equipment and fittings were of a very high standard. The owners made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Coombe Farm was the ideal location for exploring the South Hams.

Beautiful cottage in lovely tranquil setting with everything you need.. Hosts were very friendly and provided fresh flowers and cream tea on our arrival. Hen House massage was also excellent and Sophie who did our massages certainly knew her stuff. Fixit cottage was an ideal base for exploring South Hams district of Devon. Would certainly return.

Fixit cottage was in a great central location, walking distance to Kingsbridge and also a short drive to many lovely beaches.. The enclosed garden was perfect for our toddler and she loved watching the tractors go by! The pool was a great bonus too. Beni was very friendly and welcoming and we would definitely recommend Fixit cottage and hope to return!

People need to be aware that the swimming pool shuts at 8.. 00 pm. Pets are not allowed on the premises at all. Not even if you book them into kennels over night, and you want them to go in the garden while you get ready. People also need to be aware that this is a working farm, so guests need to be aware that they may get working up at 6.30 am as we did, by the farmer moving his cows around, or by barn doors slamming etc which also woke us up.

We stayed here in May, the beauty of the place has to be seen. Wonderful lane to main road with so many wild plants was amazing. Hosts were really lovely and so helpful. Bought great local honey and was such a good price. Has a lovely indoor pool which we really loved. Spa close by and hairdressers. Can't fault this property and we will be gong back. My daughter and her friends are very interested as well. Thanks you for a great week.

I have been coming here for years, have got to know the owners and am biased but everything done on Coombe Farm is done to a very high standard. (I've stayed in every accommodation here on different occasions.) Haven't been for about 5 years so to see some of the updates and changes was refreshing and pleasing. The new patio is a lovely development on Fix-It cottage, making al fresco dining tempting. The house has everything you could wish for with good kitchen equipment, comfy beds and all the usual as far as TV etc. and a good wifi (Free!) connection. It is a working farm so enjoy but don't try to pet the animals. (I like seeing a tractor go by loaded with hay!) Private parking just for us was a bonus. WARNING FOR DRIVERS: I've said this before but if you are new to Devon's skinny Lanes go slow and take care. Particularly in Summer when the hedges are high and well grown.
