Just arrived back from a week in Fern cottage, we had a fabulous holiday, there was four in our party, my mum and my two young boys, one and three.. The cottage has lots of character is very homely so you can settle right in from the moment you get there.
The parking situation was a bit awkward, there's a car park just down the road not far at all but trying to unload two small children and our daily baggage was not easy, we got beeped at a couple of times. The washing machine was a massive plus, we couldn't of managed without it after all those days at the beach.
If you visit then Penbryn is a must, the beach there is just beautiful and secluded, Mwnt is also a nice little addition. Boat trip at New Quay and the Cardigan farm park were a must too as we spotted lots of Dolphins and seals. Rockpools at Newport are great fun for kids, make sure you go at low tide and theres a cafe on the golf course above so you can top your energy up.
