Elm Lodge is a log cabin three miles from Ulverston in Cumbria. It provides two bedrooms, made up of a double with an en-suite and a twin room, it also provides a family shower room, the property can sleep up to four people. Inside you will also discover the open-plan living room which comprises with a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area. Its exterior comes with plenty of off road parking and a decking with furniture, a gas barbecue and a hot tub. Elm Lodge is a stylish getaway, placed excellently for discovering the countryside and coastline of Cumbria.

Ulverston is a market town near the Lake District National Park with shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants and is known for its festivals and events. There are walks around the town and countryside with views of the Lake District and Morecambe Bay. Nearby attractions include lakes Windermere and Coniston and Birkrigg Common.

The perfect weekend, the cabin smelt of wood and was so immaculately clean it was as if no one had ever been in there before us.. Everything you could possibly need was there ready and the quality of everything in the cabin was amazing, you can tell the owner really cares, even with books, dvds and board games provided! We will definetly be back, thank you to Steve for a wonderful getaway.

The lodge was fantastic.. Lovely and warm, clean and very comfortable with everything you need. The hot tub was awesome. We had a really good time and enjoyed playing ball with Bentley the dog.

Thank you so much for a lovely break that exceeded all our expectations.. The only problem was we didn’t book a longer stay! Our kids aged 12 and 10 years loved the lodge and the surrounding areas. We particularly loved the peaceful atmosphere. Steve was very welcoming on arrival and we couldn’t fault a thing! The cruise along lake Windermere is also a must. Thanks again for a wonderful much needed break, we will definitely be returning but for longer next time!

Elm Lodge was a fantastic place to stay for a nice lazy few days away.. It is a little off the beaten track, but we liked that. The road to it is very easy to navigate, but it was really nice and quiet when we got there. The Lodge is perfect. Everything you would ever need and it was really nice and warm and cosy. The only thing we would say (but this is only us), the bed was only a double. Not a problem at all, but we have a Queen sized bed st home, so we did feel a little cramped, but it was comfy all the same. We had constant hot water, the dishwasher was a great addition and the hot tub was mega. I would definitely recommend this Lodge to anyone.

The cabin was beautiful! Warm and cozy! Hot tub amazing! Lovely location and we had a lovely few days. No wifi connection but we had 4g phone signal the whole time. Nice bottle of wine and teabags with milk waiting for us which was a nice touch. More storage in the wardrobe such as shelves or drawers would have been useful but by no means affected our stay! Would definitely recommend for a quiet get away!!x

What a fantastic lodge and setting.. The hosts were of exceptional standard and even messaged us prior to arriving to let us know about the local facilities and where to eat. The lodge was amazing. The setting is great and the view is just picture postcard. We will definitely be going back again. Undoubtedly. A huge that you to Steve and Carol for making it a pleasant stay.

I have recently returned from a superb 3 night break at Elm Lodge.. The lodge itself is immaculately presented with stylish furnishings and quality workmanship all round. The views off the decking area are outstanding and the private hot tub and bbq are a fantastic addition. The owners Steve and Carole are very welcoming and can’t do enough to help. I would highly recommend this lodge. I can’t speak highly enough of it.

Elm Lodge is in a beautifully set location looking on to the hillside.. With a lodge at either side you still have your privacy. The lodge itself is immaculate with top quality fixtures and fittings, the hot tub and barbecue were a welcome addition. Overall we will definitely be visiting again, Steven the owner was very welcoming and a cracking chap, nothing too much trouble and the inclusion of a bottle of red wine on our arrival was a great touch. Outstanding.
