This is a very small studio home that provides the bare necessities. However, we think it’s a great alternative to a hotel room, with the prevalence of the stylish, contemporary interior. The deep green wallpaper is a nice touch, offset by a flamingo pink, Art Deco style bed frame and a solid oak Scandi desk and chair. The kitchenette provides a hob and a microwave, but there’s no dining space, so it’s best for breakfast only and if you’re going to be dining out. If you’re looking for a no-frills base in the city, then this home is good value and in a great location.
Home truths: * This is a functional and purpose-built studio with limited space, so quite different from some of the other homes in our collection
* As you are in such a central area and on a main road, you will be able to hear some street noise
* The kitchen here features a microwave and an electric hob only
* You are in a multi-unit building so the experience is slightly more hotel-like than a traditional homestay
* There's no lift here so you will have to climb the stairs to the second floor
