We recently had a holiday here with two families 5 adults and 5 children who's ages ranged from 9 to 16 years.. The accommodation met all our expectations, the outside space was beautiful. David the owner was on hand should you require anything, his knowledge of the area was extremely useful. He was very friendly, extremely helpful and courteous at all times.

The cottage was in a lovely quiet spot, and was a great base to explore from.. Dave, the owner was really helpful, we enjoyed seeing Barney the dog and the visiting ducks!

This was our third visit to Eastcott Farmhouse in the past five years as ever it was spotlessly clean and a true home from home David the host makes you extremely welcome and nothing is too much trouble! The kitchen is very well equipped and perfect for cooking in whilst away which is a rarity when on holiday I can highly recommend this accommodation.

Five of us stayed at Eastcott Farmhouse for six nights.. The owner David was very welcoming and helpful. The farmhouse was excellent, the beds were all comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The location was rural, several miles from any towns and was therefore ideal for a quiet, relaxing holiday. The only small niggle was the internet reception was poor. I would definitely recommend Eastcott Farmhouse to others who are seeking a peaceful rural location for a holiday.

We enjoyed a really good family holiday at this farmhouse.. The owner David recommended some good ideas for days out and we enjoyed some relaxing nights in his pub next door following our daytime activities. The nearest shop really is a good 15 minute drive away but we really enjoyed the opportunity to get away from it all. A truly relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bustle of day to day life in a gorgeous rural location.

This farmhouse is out in the sticks, add 15 mins to any journey time! However it is well worth it, had everything my family of 11 (from 1 -61) needed and felt like home from home. Dave was lovely, we saw him most days but he left us to it. There was some noise from the pub next door but generally it was quiet and peaceful. Garden was large enough for ball games. Kitchen large enough for us all to sit and eat together and the lounge had enough seating for everyone, the rocking chair proved popular!!! Internet is almost non existent but everyone managed - even the teenagers!!!

Perhaps you could let it be known that this property is slightly off the beaten track.. Although this didnt matter to myself once a the property although there are several lodges and a bungalow nearby this does not make any differance to the tranquility of the property

The farmhouse was amazing, the owner Dave has thought of everything even down to providing bin bags, hand wash, tea towels and bath towels.. This very remote farmhouse has a beautiful enclosed garden for the safety of small ones playing and a pond to the front. It’s 20 minutes to the nearest shop so keep that in mind. Dave is really friendly and always on hand to recommend places to visit and eat. We had a Tesco’s delivery the evening we arrived. The farmhouse has a huge amount of space (their was 11 of us). Our only negative was the noise from the people coming out of the pub late which disturbed the bedrooms to the front of the house on a few of the evenings. Would definitely stay here again.

A relaxing place for a family get together.. Mobile signal almost non-existent and Wi Fi very slow (not much you could do about that !) Owner very friendly. My surname is spelt Pewtress and not Pewrtress.

Unusually there were no leaflets about any of the appliances at the property or information on local shops, attractions, recommended eateries etc.. It is the first rental property we have stayed at that had no Visitors Book and we have been using these for over 40 years !. The property itself was fine.

There is a pond at the front of the house and we had great fun with the ducks, and although it rained a lot there are places to go. Attached to the house is a pub with an incredible owner who also owns the house, and when inside the house you would never know the pub was there. Bude is nice and we went to Port Isaac and it didn't rain.
