Set within a small farm dating back to the 17th century, this attractive holiday home enjoys views across the open countryside and right on the edge of the Cotswold Water Park. The property has some lovely touches throughout, including the heated limestone flooring and the wood burner for those winter evenings. Inside there is a spacious open-plan living room, dining area and fitted kitchen with a built in breakfast bar. It has one twin bedroom and one double bedroom with an en suite bathroom and WC. There is a separate shower room and WC. To the rear of the property, there is an enclosed garden and patio area with furniture provided. Stabling and turnout for two horses can be arranged with the owner before you arrive. Off road parking is available. Dairy Cottage is the ultimate holiday destination.

Leigh, Wiltshire is a short drive away from Ashton Keynes which is positioned on the banks of the River Thames. Lying within the Cotswold Water Park and split by the River Thames, which has many channels here, centred 6.5 miles from its source at Thames Head. Within the village of Ashton Keynes there is a pub named the White Hart Inn, as well as a village shop. Formerly known as Aesctun in 800 AD, Ashton Keynes appeared in the Domesday Book, with ten variants of the name being recorded over the past 800 years. The local school is a voluntary controlled school. Parts of the school building date back to 1870. Seven minutes car ride away is the Saxon town of Cricklade, lying just outside the Cotswolds ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’.
