Cwmdu Cottage is a beautifully converted detached cottage, nestled in a pretty wooded valley, across a quiet lane from the owners’ property, just 1.5 miles from Newcastle Emlyn. It can sleep three people in a double bedroom, a single bedroom and a bathroom upstairs. There is an open plan living area with a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area. Outside there is ample off road parking and a lawned garden with a patio and furniture. Cwmdu Cottage is an ideal touring base for your holiday in this beautiful area.

Two bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x single. Bathroom with bath, hand-held shower only, basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area.

The bustling market town of Newcastle Emlyn is situated on the River Teifi and offers a number of shops, antiques, tea rooms, pubs, restaurants and a ruined castle. Nearby is wonderful countryside, plus the Cardiganshire coastline is ten miles away, and within driving distance is the town of Carmarthen.

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

We had a very comfortable relaxing time in this lovely cottage.. The views from the sunny patio were wonderful; we loved watching the buzzards and kites soaring around . We walked around by the river and through fields and made friends with the gorgeous resident pony. The hosts were always on hand and were exceptionally helpful and friendly. We would highly recommend this lovely place, and very much hope to return.

Cwmdu Cottage is set in a beautiful part of Wales.. It has fantastic views and is well appointed inside. A special treat is the morning birdsong which we appreciated. We had a warm welcome from Angela and Tony the owners who live nearby. Another great week away in mid Wsles. Thank you.

Amazingly quiet and beautiful location helpful owners bathroom very neat tidy and clean I am 6ft 3 inches so it was a wee bit small for me but house as a place is a gem Love the bookshelf the patio the viewwell equipped kitchen we would love to go back Kitchen would benefit from a water jug but has 99 pct of what you need niche welcome excellent info on local area nice big drive local town has all you might need 10 out of 10 house

The only issue was the shower which was a hand held shower with you had to sit in the bath to use..

We truly enjoyed our stay at the cottage.. The cottage is well suited for a family of 3. Waking up every morning in the middle of the mountains was breath taking. Taking walks in the woods was a wonderful experience to me. The landlords very helpful and kind. They have brochures for areas around and places of interest "ie" beach, shops and many more.

This was our second time to Cwmdu Cottage and, despite the weather (it rained a lot! !), it was still a lovely stay. The cottage is so peaceful and relaxing you really do not want to go home at the end of your stay. It was a real pleasure to go back to the cottage at the end of the day and just sit outside with a glass of wine and listen to the bubbling of the local river/ waterfall. The local beaches are beautiful and the countryside incredibly inspirational for walking. The hosts, Angela and Tony, are very accommodating and friendly. Thank you again for a lovely stay and I am sure we will back again next year.

We had a great time at Cwmdu Cottage.. It is situated in a lovely little valley in an extremely scenic part of Wales. The opportunities to explore the coastline and countryside are practically inexhaustible. As for the house itself, it is exceptionally clean and has all the amenities you might need. The owners are very helpful and friendly - and only a short walk away should you have any questions! Highly recommended.

We received a warm welcome from the owners when we arrived.. Cottage was extremely clean and nicely furnished. The location was very peaceful near to many local country walks. Easy driving distance from Pembrokeshire and Cardiganshire coast. We had a restful holiday- just what we needed!

A brilliant cottage.. The location is excellent and the views down the valley are 10 out of 10. Almost every day we saw buzzards flying overhead. The owners are very friendly and helpful, they really went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Also, a really good central location ideal for visiting the West and South coasts of Wales. I would highly recommend this cottage for a 'get away from it all' break. Having said that, local amenities are also not too far away if required. Overall, a gem of a place to stay. We will definitely be coming back next year.

The cottage, which was beautiful and immaculate, was set in an idyllic location with the most amazing view. The owners went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The cottage was about a mile and a half from Newcastle Emlyn and was close enough to visit many lovely beaches and resorts. We would have no hesitation in recommending the cottage, and are hoping that we will be able to go back ourselves.
