Mr Harrop, September 2020
We had a very relaxing holiday and Sarah the owner was brilliant on the day we arrived providing us with a bottle of milk and biscuits so we could have a cuppa straight away.. It was so peaceful with walks on our doorstep and our dog could roam free in the fields without worrying about traffic.
All in all a lovely time away for us both which we would highly recommend.
Mr Thomas, October 2020
The cottage was lovely and Sarah could not have been more helpful and friendly.. She made us feel very welcome.
Mr Mcculloch, September 2020

Dr Gray, July 2020
Lovely place to stay away from the town.. Wonderful setting. Sarah was the perfect host and does everything to make your stay enjoyable.
Mr Hide, March 2020
Had a wonderful time in cottage, Sarah a lovely host.. Look forward to booking again in the future
Mr Bowdler, February 2020
Sarah was the perfect host, offering us a choice of biscuits and a Christmas Hamper when we arrived.. Regarding the cottage itself, it was what we expected, clean and well equipped. If I had any niggles it would be the lack of coat hooks in the entrance hall to hang wet coats on, the white plastic handled cutlery in the kitchen was in poor condition (eg: loose handles, signs of rust) and not enough hot water to take a bath. Other than that, a very pleasant place to stay.
Mr Holloway, December 2019
Sarah was lovely and couldn’t do enough for us to make sure we enjoyed our stay.. We we’re only there for 2 nights and the weather was terrible it poured with rain constantly but we will definitely go back again next year for longer and during the summer
Had a lovely time.. Very dog friendly and within walking distance of the coast. Sarah very helpful and informative about local facilities, etc.
Would suggest that greater prominence is given to shared garden in the description.. Large party in the large cottage asked us what we were doing in “their” garden. A quick firm explanation set the confusion to rights. But nothing was going to stop us using such a lovely space. This is the only reason why we would hesitate to return.
Just a great place owner great and helpfull all you need for great time
This was a lovely little cottage in a beautifully quite position.. The cottage was well equipped with a very comfortable bed and complimentary milk and biscuits (usually new laid eggs but hens not laying through winter), access to a good selection of DVDs, books and games etc.
Sarah the owner was a wonderful lady, she was there to meet me and couldn't do enough to make my stay brilliant. Had a small glitch with the heating one day and Sarah went out and purchased an electric blanket for me, couldn't ask for more than that.
Would recommend this to anyone especially if you are looking for a quiet countryside break.
Thank you Sarah for such a lovely stay.
The owner was great, friendly, helpful and honest.. The location was perfect for dog walking. Access to local interest points was great by car and there was plenty to reach on foot too.
We had a wonderful time at Cupids Cottage near Bridlington.. Our host Sarah was wonderful and couldn't do enough for us. We spent our wedding anniversary there and Sarah even brought flowers, card and a prezzie!
The cottage was spotless and well equipped. It is ideal for visiting all the coastal resorts.2 miles from Bridlington, 3 from Flmaborough Head Nature Reserve, about 12 from Filey, a bit farther to Scarborough with Whitby abour forty miles away. On top of this there is a RSPB nature reserve near by at Bempton Cliffs. All well worth a visit. On top of this we had the "Best Fish and Chips", in the UK, (MAYBE THE WORLD)
Yes, we will go again. It was so relaxing. Lovely beaches, nice people and nice places.
Sarah also has other beautiful cottages and a very large wonderful farmhouse type building with five bedrooms to sleep eleven people, wood burner, huge living room, wonderful kitchen and really nice furniture. Great for a family get together.
It was our first stay in this part of the UK AND WE LOVED IT.!

We had a lovely week in Cupid's cottage, the owner couldn't have been more helpful, rang us a few days before to ask what milk we wanted for a cuppa when we arrived! ! Lovely little cottage, a perfect base for exploring, will definitely be going back.
This accommodation was first class and exceeded our expectations and the next .... This accommodation was first class and exceeded our expectations and the next time we visit England, this will be very high on our wish list of accommodations
Could not fault anything about the place.. A nice short walk across fields down past South Cliff caravan park to the beach and on the seafront to town or another way onto the countryside. I would recommend Bessingby Mews to anyone who wants a quiet place to stay but not too far from things to do.
Lovely tranquil setting.. Only 5 minute drive to the coast. Lovely communal garden which the dog really enjoyed.
Very friendly, welcoming host.
Lots of local info provided (including info dog friendly cafes and pubs).
Would certainly consider booking again.
The owner of the cottages was exceptionally helpful, the cottages were in an ideal location for those that like peace and quiet but were also close to facilities such as shops, restaurants, beaches and attractions..
Cosy dog friendly cottage.. Nice dog walks from outside the cottage. Over the fields to dog friendly beach. Secure garden for dog's to enjoy.
Cottage ideal for 2. Only downside not much cupboard space to put any supplies in and sofa a bit low for anyone with joint problems. No wifi.
Nice friendly owner who met us and explained everything we needed to know. Thanks for biscuits and Milk!.
Enjoyed our stay. Friendly neighbours.
The peace and quiet.. Watching the barn owls in the evening.

Sarah was very welcoming and helpful, nothing was too much for her, the cottage was lovely, and in a nice peaceful setting, yet very close to town, a great welcome for our dog, Leon, and a massive garden for him to play in , overall it was great , Brian & Ann
Lovely welcome, enjoyed our stay very quiet and relaxing .. Lovely surroundings and very reasonably priced, everything you need is provided . Would definitely stay again
A wonderful warm welcome from the owner with a good introduction to everything available for us to use and helpful communication prior to arrival too.. Super cosy cottage and adequate space for the weeks stay. Close to local amenities in Bridlington. Off-road parking was useful although relied on other visitors parking considerately! Listing is accurate with the wi-fi availability, but this kept our holiday healthily technology-free, which was just what we were looking for / needing! Helpful local information leaflets, take-away menus and discounts for visitors shared as well as a great library of DVDs for those rainy nights cuddled up and cosy!

Very relaxing holiday.. The owner Sarah was fantastic couldn't do more for us. Its was my wife's birthday whilst we was away and she provide us a bottle of wine. Fantastic holiday. From start to end the cottage was comfy and very clean. We was well catered for. The location is ideal for vising the local areas

There is also a very nice garden to enjoy watching the birds in the sunshine. Great location to use as a base to visit York, Whitby and the Moors.

A short walk across the fields to the beach and a couple of miles walk down the beach to Bridlington. Loads of stuff to see and do within a 3 mile radius! Sarah the owner is an absolute pleasure to know.. Sarah made us exceptionally welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We had a lovely stay and will be returning soon. Thank you Sarah xx
Cupid's Cottage is a lovely restored cottage, excellent WiFi and high level fire detection/ alarm and equipment. The owner was friendly and local, great off road parking.
My father lives in a local care home and isn't very ambulant so we needed a place we could take him daily without stairs. The cottage was the ideal place even the layout of the place made it a great week for us. Sahra and Carol were outstanding and nothing was too much trouble for them, they made the whole week a good experience for us all. We had most of our meals outside on the patio just outside the door n dad spent most of the afternoons snoozing in a cumfy chair. I will be looking to book again though after seeing the big house which sleeps 10+ I might just take the whole family including grand kids.
This lovely cottage was situated in a small, quiet village on the outskirts of Bridlington. It is an ideal base for the surrounding area. Our host was lovely.
After being greeted at our lovely quaint cottage by the owner ,who was as excited as us , she showed us around the cottage and told us ,there was milk in the fridge and chocolate biscuits on the kitchen side which was a nice gesture. She did however stress that the wifi was not brilliant in the entire village , which didn't particularly bother us. So we then popped to the nearest supermarket up the main road to the first set of lights , turn right and a couple of hundred yards down the hill on right is Morrisons .we visited Flamborough head and it's cafe/restaurant which fab , watching seals and puffins . The next day we went to whitby and had a walk around the cobbled streets before having the best fish and chips ever.on the way back we came across a must visit farm shop with cafe near Scarborough called redcliffe farm shop , fantastic food to eat in or buy and take home . Thanks sarah and see you again soon jim & angela from barrow
As we did not have transport with us all amenities were within a pleasant walk including Bridlington town centre. The cottage a cute and very comfy we were made to feel very welcome and have really enjoyed our stay.
