Property Description

This delightful semi detached cottage is set in the beautiful village of Glangrwyney just off the A40, on the edge of the Brecon Beacons. It is within walking distance of a traditional village pub, ideal to relax and unwind in after a day of exploration. Well placed for visits to superb Crickhowell and the historic town of Abergavenny, full of shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes. Visit nearby galleries, museums, castles and vineyard or even take a trip on a narrow boat. Other attractions in the area include Blaenavon Iron Works, The Big Pit, stargazing at the Brecon Beacons Visitor Centre or perhaps try horse riding, golf, climbing and kayaking. You can also enjoy private fishing on the River Usk. Enter into the handy boot room where you can kick off your shoes after taking in one of the many local walks and head through into the open plan kitchen with electric oven and gas hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine. There is also a breakfast bar that leads through to the open plan dining room and onto a fabulous sunroom with doors out to the garden. Through an inner hallway and down one step is the cosy lounge, with comfortable sofas, Smart TV and a warming wood burner. Upstairs, on the first floor, there are two bedrooms. A very large master bedroom with four poster king size bed with an en suite shower room and WC and a good sized twin bedroom. There is also a bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Outside there are lovely dog proof gardens with a patio area and a small stream running through, and lawn space beyond. Children should be supervised due to the stream in the grounds. There is off road parking for four cars.
