You can sample Craster Kippers which are the local delicacy and take the scenic coastal path from here to see the 14th century Dunstanburgh Castle. The beach walk from Craster to Low Newton along Embleton Sands is simply wonderful. You can then reward yourselves at the great beach pub, the Ship Inn, at Low Newton which has its own micro brewery.
