Property Description

This inviting home is a super place to stay to make the most of your visit to the beautiful Brecon Beacons. Stroll from the front door along the lane to the pretty canal, where you can hire a boat and take to the water. Hikers and mountain bikers will be spoilt for choice with many routes surrounding the village while for a hardier trek, Pen y Fan, the highest peak in South Wales (17 miles), can be reached from a number of different starting points. Sugar Loaf mountain (12 miles) on the outskirts of Abergavenny is also a favourite of walking enthusiasts. Take your pick from the many great places to eat in the popular market town of Crickhowell, 4 miles away. Inside the property you will find a delightful kitchen with traditional slate floor, which is a sociable space for rustling up meals and snacks. It features an electric cooker and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine/tumble dryer. Guests can enjoy a catch up at the handy breakfast bar while the large dining table in the spacious lounge is the perfect spot for more formal occasions with plenty of seating for all your guests. The large comfortable sofas will be a welcome sight after a long day on your feet, as you all unwind in front of a film on the Smart TV. Two of the bedrooms are conveniently located on the ground floor, a twin and a king room, while there is also a walk in wet room shower with WC, equipped with safety rails for less mobile guests. A spiral staircase leads from the lounge up to two further bedrooms, a double with exposed wooden beams and a family room with a single and a double bed. A family bathroom is also on this level with a shower over the bath and WC. Heading outside into the sheltered garden area, fire up the BBQ and take a seat on the patio as you soak up your peaceful surroundings. Just a short walk and there is a recreational area which has tennis courts, a child's activity play park and football goals. There is also ample parking for several cars at the property.
