Stroll from the front door along the lane to the pretty canal, where you can hire a boat and take to the water. Hikers and mountain bikers will be spoilt for choice with many routes surrounding the village while for a hardier trek, Pen y Fan, the highest peak in South Wales (17 miles), can be reached from a number of different starting points.
