Cycling, hiking, and water sports are just a few of the more adventurous activities available. Osborne House, a popular English Heritage site, is only 1.5 miles away, and the Monkey Haven rescue centre is only 2.5 miles. Cowes is highly recommended, and for boat enthusiasts, it is home to Cowes Week, one of the world's longest running sailing regattas. Explore the beaches and lively town, with a selection of eateries, from seafood to traditional pub food (8 miles). There is lots of wildlife in the garden, including red squirrels, so be sure to keep an eye out. The property benefits from the shared use of a 30ft outdoor heated swimming pool, open between April and October and shared with an additional small lodge within the grounds.
