Stroll hand in hand along the majestic River Eden or pull on your hiking boots and climb Cross Fell (6 miles), the highest mountain in the Pennines. Journey to Ullswater (12 miles) for iconic Lake District scenery; glide across the water on one of the steamers or scale the surrounding fells for jaw dropping views. Three steps lead to this stylish apartment and, once inside, the accommodation is all on one level. The open plan lounge/kitchen/diner is chic and elegant, with vibrant artwork, feature wallpaper and quirky light fittings creating a boutique hotel vibe. After a romantic dinner for two at the gorgeous glass dining table, snuggle up together on the plush sofa in front of the electric fire to read a book or watch a film on the smart TV. The sleek kitchen is a pleasure to cook in and is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, built in microwave, fridge, and dishwasher. There s also a breakfast bar where you can sit with a morning coffee whilst planning the day s adventures. The cottage is located within the walled garden of the adjacent vicarage, along with two other cottages, and you are welcome to take a stroll around the beautiful, shared grounds.
