We're smitten with the country-style kitchen, which has everything you need to prepare delicious feasts using local ingredients. Start the day with breakfast in the dining nook, admiring the beautiful views, then head out to the two-acre garden for some fresh air. Kick a football around, play a game of croquet, watch the children let loose on the swing set or just lounge in the sun with a drink in hand. As the evening draws to a close, make use of the barbecue or toast marshmallows around the firepit. When you're in the mood for adventure, escape through the garden gate for a long walk on the public footpaths, ending at the award-winning pub a mile away. There are plenty of pretty Cotswolds villages within driving distance, and the host can arrange experiences like at-home chefs to make your trip extra special.
