Cobble Cottage is a quirky, charming cottage situated on the outskirts of Hornsea benefits from the nearby coast. The cottage has three bedrooms, one ground floor 4ft double, one king-size double, one single with a pull-out stacker bed, as well as a shower room and can sleep four people. The rest of the property is made up of a well-equipped kitchen and an open plan living/dining area with an electric woodburner effect stove. There is off-road parking for 1 car on the driveway, with additional parking nearby if needed and an enclosed gravelled garden with patio and furniture. Cobble Cottage is a stunning property in the perfect location on the coast.

Three bedrooms: 1 x ground floor 3ft single, 1 x double, 1 x single with additional pull-out stacker bed. Shower room with shower, basin and WC. Kitchen. Open plan living area with dining area and sitting area with gas open coal effect fire.

Area
The seaside town of Hornsea lies on the East Coast, 15 miles south of Bridlington. This resort has sandy beaches and a promenade with well-kept gardens, ideal for families. The town centre has a variety of small shops, pubs and cafes, whilst nearby Hornsea Mere is the largest natural lake in Yorkshire and offers sailing, fishing and boat trips. The city of York and The Deep at Hull are within an easy drive.

Region
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Cottage was lovely and comfortable, in a great position for walking the dog in the park, popping to pubs and shops and so close to the sea (less than 10 mins walk).. We are hoping to visit again next year.

We had a wonderful sunny week at Cobble Cottage.. It's cosy, comfortable, really well equipped, stylish and perfectly located. Our dog loved the large park which is on the doorstep of the cottage, and the beach just a short walk away. An even shorter walk was required to the town centre with the basics and some nice places to eat (we'd particularly recommend The Cliff Road Cafe for a quality fresh breakfast and Harper's Fish and Chip restaurant). We were able to easily explore the East coast from Scarborough to Cleethorpes, walking along 6 beaches in as many days. There have been a few cottages I've reviewed and said "we'll be back", but this is the one I really hope we can visit again.

A lovely cottage in an ideal location.. We had a wonderful break and didn’t want to come home. There is a park next door, the beach at one end of the road and the town with lots of shops, pubs eateries etc at the other end of the road. Everything you need. We hope to return.

Our cottage was immaculate very co.. Fortable warm and clean. A very nice welcome pack was left for us. As we have dogs it was the only cottage we've ever stayed where it was kept to a very high standard. Normally we find places that accept dogs are a little tired and lacking in homely touches. Cobble cottage was very high standard of cleanliness it was comfy and cozy, wonderful location only 10mins walk to sea front and town where we found several dog friendly pubs and cafes.. Behind the cottage is Hall garth Park which our dogs loved while walking through to the beach or shops would definately go back again.

This was our second stay in Cobble Cottage so obviously we really like it.. It has everything you need for a comfortable week away and is spotlessly clean. The owners have thought of everything and more. Our dogs had a wonderful week and Garth Hall park is right next door which they loved. Hornsea is a small coastal town with lots of local shops and pubs. A large Tesco is only a short drive away. For shopaholics Beverley is the place to visit having a large shopping mall and picturesque old town. Thank you Anita and John and thank you Sykes for the fantastic cottages we have previously stayed in.

This really is a little hidden gem.. The location is fantastic, with beaches nearby, a beautiful country park at the back of the cottage and lake within walking distance. This really is an exceptional cottage, the owners had thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible, everything was lovingly put together, so much so, that you just didn’t want to leave. It was spotlessly clean, with only the best from the beautiful towels and bedding to all the board games that were provided. We can’t wait to return.

Parking and exiting the property was difficult at times when other vehicles were parked outside their garages, needing a multi-point turn in a very restricted space.. The bathroom could have been more user friendly by grab hand rails to help when leaving the shower.

Perfect, very comfortable, cosy and clean.. We had two nights when the weather was freezing the cottage was lovely and warm. The location is great , right next to the park , short walk to the shops and pub.

Cobble Cottage was an absolute delight! Hornsea was within an easy driving distance of York and so we enjoyed many days taking all the tourist attractions York had to offer. Overall a fabulous holiday experience.
